Aurora Glasslight Wow... Aren't we close minded? "Never heard of them, so I figured it would suck." I have been listening to them for years. All their music is great. I remember the first time I heard them on Last.FM and I sat there going "Wow, who the hell is this? This is beyond awesome!" Eventually I became friends with Colette and Allison through facebook. They are great people, and their music is amazing. To judge a band simply because you never heard of them before, is like judging the book by the cover.
lol ya it might have been a little closed minded. It wasn't that I thought the band would suck, more of the cover. I listened to their other stuff and it was very steampunkish and I loved it ^_^ I'm glad to being introduced to them. If I truly was closed minded though I wouldn't have even listened to it ;) Even though I don't listen to lady gaga I loved their poker face cover :D
tom rhodes and also if you look at my channel you'll see that I have no problem AT ALL with checking out bands/projects that I have never heard of (I actually thrive on it) Nice assumption.
Aurora Glasslight its a good thing you checked them out then, thats the good thing about TH-cam, you can do a risk free check of something and broaden your options with out going broke on bands that didnt work out. so glad this one worked out for you, hope you find more that you like as well.
