Abney Park seems to be focused primarily on band vids. We're doing something more with 'em... story type vids. We all ready have plans for Airship Pirates as it's a FUN song!
We have a LOT of women up here getting into the Steampunk stuff. Moreso than the guys, honestly. Our last video shoot [it's in production] we had 30 people come out and about 2/3rds were women.
I'd love to shorten my date's waiting time with 'sports' like these. :D Absolutely amazing video! Made me laughing tears. And the yellow 'tune' of it all fits perfect to the music! Excellent work!
I must say, a lot of fan videos suck, but this, was simply amazing, great scenery, it seemed to stay as true to steampunk as possible, and one of my favorite abney park songs *appludes*
I remember the day when I first discovered this video as if it was yesterday Now I recognise that the music is from the band I love so much! Thank you so much for your fun video and the great music even after 10 years ^-^
Abney park is probably one of my favorite bands, as well as a rebours. the steampunk genre is simply amazing. if only we could have a nice big concert near me with all of these guys
more fully than ever previously. Indeed. Clever and interesting story telling like this video is a perfect example. Some fellows here are making a vid game, but pushing everything, the art, the music, the story, to such a peak of quality... and on a shoe string!
Me too man. I've always had a facination with the style I just didn't know it had a name. I always loved the airship things in FF9 and a few flash games on the web that looked the same. I love steam punk!!!
hip hip horay!!! hip hip horay!!! hip hip horay!!!!! ahhhhh steampunk....sooooooo awesome, i really wanna get myself a trench coat, goggles, top-hat and a pocket watch then i can count my self as a true steampunk fan!!!(althou i already am an avid fan of the whole steampunk genre) HORAY FOR ABNEY PARK!!!
Wow, that's really some piece of work! Amazing job, guys. (...woah... I realised it's Toronto before reaching the credits... I must have spent too long in the city...)
I Love this video, not only does it do the band credit but it also does a lot to show people just how cool Steam Punk can be. I'd love to make something similar.
This seriously seems like a professional grade vid. It's exceptionally well done. I adore the sepia coloring, definately makes it better. I also love the little group of people randomly place around XD they're so cool. ^^
This really inspired me to create a steampunk short of my own, thank you :) I now have a video with a teleporting pocket watch, steam powered goggles and an evil scientist :P
Fave song. First I heard of these guys was from a friend who makes their costumes but they've not yet made it to the UK so I ended up buying loads of their Death of Tragedy album on my credit card to put on the playlist in work and they sold really quickly.
hahha i love how its silent at the end! and the sepia is very nice too^^ its really not bad for a zero budget! i was watching it with my lights off and all my candles on! made better with the right atmosphere though my eyes are having a field day heheh
@Vampgurl184 One of the blessings of being a Steampunk kid is that we tend to be very resourceful. In fact, a lot of members on Brass Goggles got their goggles from their grandparents and people who lived in that era. And thrift stores, garage sales, etc. Learning to sew might be a good idea, too.
i got to say this, you fella did a really good job, you should be proud that you made a music video better than some company could muster with all there resources. once again fantastic job.....
We are really kind of all over the place. We do a lot of 80's influenced darkwave stuff, but we also do ambient soundscapes, ragtime, waltzes, new wave, neo-classical film score type stuff, and whatever else we think of.
Knock knock. Anyone alive in 2019? It amazes me how much this band has come along since 12 years ago.
You know, this was my jam back in the day....and I only just NOW realized this is a spoof of the Darude Sandstorm music video.
2020
2021!!
2022

This remains one of my favorite vids on youtube.
Oh my gosh me too. Real action packed! I was so born in the wrong era!
The Wrong Side is one of my favorite songs, and I keep coming back to this Vid, cuz Abney Doesn't have one

This song always reminds me of the Dresden Files series for some reason...
I'd love to shorten my date's waiting time with 'sports' like these. :D

Yay BJDs! Great song and video.
Toronto. The bulk of it behind and around the Eaton Centre downtown, and in this little park we found south of the Bay Department Store.
I missed their last show in Seattle, but oh well I'm going to see them during the steam punk con.
jus loving the steampunk movement
hahha i love how its silent at the end! and the sepia is very nice too^^ its really not bad for a zero budget! i was watching it with my lights off and all my candles on! made better with the right atmosphere though my eyes are having a field day heheh

I would move to Toronto if life was like this everyday! It's sooooo much better than Florida.
Reminds me of Sherlock holmes and Watson
Very well put
i got to say this, you fella did a really good job, you should be proud that you made a music video better than some company could muster with all there resources. once again fantastic job.....
My doll was there! ^_^ I loved those hats! I wanted to grab one and run away... >.>
I absolutely love this video. You did an amazing job with all of it, imo. The downside is I feel tired after watching all that running, haha.
It was shot in downtown Toronto.
And thank you!
We are really kind of all over the place. We do a lot of 80's influenced darkwave stuff, but we also do ambient soundscapes, ragtime, waltzes, new wave, neo-classical film score type stuff, and whatever else we think of.
What a cool video. :D

Abney Park Cemetery is really near my house yay!! I must go there...
