In this video we set up a dish to the pole mount and set it up with a actuator and lnb to recive c ku band
High performance 240cm (8ft) C/Ku-Band polar mount prime focus mesh satellite dish. This is the most common dish size used for residential C-Band signal reception in North America. This dish size will receive approximately 100% of North American TV broadcasts and 90% of Central and South American TV broadcasts. It can be used as a stationary dish (includes lock down bar) or fully motorized with an actuator (not included) to track multiple satellites. The aesthetic appeal of this mesh dish makes it perfect for both urban and rural areas where reliable C-Band reception is required.
Note: This is our 6th generation model with heavy-duty mount and superior steel construction.

This is the LNBF you need to get all C and Ku band satellite channels with your 180cm, 210cm, 240cm, 300cm, 350cm or 400cm prime focus dish.
NOTE: Includes an external 2x1 switch to combine the C and Ku bands.
NOTE: Recommended for oversized dishes (i.e. 10ft diameter or greater) because combining both bands will result in some c band signal degradation.

This is our heavy-duty, 24-inch, 2-inch tube QARL SuperJack Linear Actuator used to move your c band dish so that it can track multiple satellites.
It is powered by a 36V positioner (sold separately), can handle a maximum load of up to 1500 lbs and is recommended for 240cm and 300cm dish sizes.
A conventional installation on most C band dish mounts will allow you to track the satellite arc from SAT40W to SAT139W. However, with our custom actuator plate and the 36-inch stroke length of this actuator, you will be able to track the satellite arc from SAT15W to SAT139W!
NOTE: Actuator color is charcoal black
NOTE: This 24-inch actuator (2016 model) is a stronger version of our previous model with a thicker tube. It now ships with our 240cm Mesh Dish Package.

C/band is faulty for sure!
The line of sight of d dish is blocked by house wall... u wud loose most of d signal

Hi Robbie you are on 91w I’m 107 w you can point at Europe Astra 19.2 and you get CNN euro news French in i went to Europe the last year and i purchase a satellite receiver $50 and a 80cm dish $25 and i pointed at Astra 19.2 they have 1500 Chanel’s i watch allots English Chanel’s from the west we’re i live is not easy but now I’m going to put my C/band back 10 feet dish and the chaparral LNB i miss all those Chanel’s i got to wait till spring my hobby is like yours have a great day bye!
I have a problem with your explanation. So can you tell me how you can switch the High-Band on the Ku LNB without a 22kHz Tone? (Normal switch that the Low/High-Band) What i mean is with teh 22kHz Tone you switch between the C-Band and the Ku-Band - correct!? But if you are switch to the Ku-Band how you can switch between the Low Band and the High Band on the Ku-LNB? I have the same PBI Turbo 4200-CK10 and there is written on Ku-Band 10.70-11.7GHz L.O. 9.75/10.6GHz (the 11.7Ghz is wrong printed on it. It should be 12,75GHz). With the 22kHz Tone you switch the Ku-Low/High Band. The output on Ku-Band is 950-2050MHz this is 1100MHz for each of the Band.
What you need is a DiseqC Switch and not a 22kHz switch that you used - so you can not receive the High-Band or the Low-Band depending on which you connect the LNBs on.

question for anyone - the old house i bought had a HUGE old satellite dish in the back... i took it down and took the actuator out (thing weights about 20 pounds and is maybe 5 feet long extended)... i apply 12v to it and it turns, but how the heck do i get the thing to extend and retract? I want to repurpose it to move an array of solar panels. anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

How is the reception signal, compared to your old antenna
some transponders it is the same. But I still haven't got it tuned to the whole ark. The Lnb still needs tweaking!
