not sure if it's Sonic Team that made it, but, it's a good thing, SEGA releases games on their other IPs to give Sonic Team time to properly work on the next Sonic game or whatnot
Valkyria Chronicles 4 (Team Valkyria), Samba De Amigo: Party Central (Puyo Puyo Team), and Sakura Wars 2019 (Phantasy Star Team) were developed by Team Sonic, so Sega definitely hired Team Sonic for reviving old franchises, unlike Rya Ga Gotoku Studio which still making only Yakuza games.@@JadenFox9
I found if you had one pair of the Wii Maracas still, the pair would have expandable slots for Wii remotes. However, I could actually shove in the joycons and now I can reuse them, despite not being made for them, it still works fine.
When I played the demo, the gameplay reminded me of MaiMai, another rhythm game from Sega, as someone that doesn’t have a ton of Samba Di Amigo experience, im curious how much both games borrowed from each other
I want a Project Diva pack! How cools would it be to dress up Amigo as Miku?! Plus, it’d breathe new life into Project Diva (possibly my most played Switch game) for other people.
I've already done every song on Crazy difficulty which is the most fun in my opinion but I'm working on getting ranks for the other difficulties and im currently level 19 using the classic outfit ensemble. I'm absolutely loving this and I haven't played this series since the early days as a child with the Dreamcast.
Okay, its great there's a button scheme in the game, cuz I was excited the series was coming back, but I only own a Switch lite. lol Now all we need is a Parappa 3 and I'm golden!

They've been doing that for like a decade now. It's just whenever a franchise got revived, people forget about those after a week and back to complaining.
I found this game last friday in a local toystore. I looked up a review, but soon realised the game was not officially out yet, since there was no review online yet. I was kinda scared to jump the gun, but did it anyway. Im glad i did, since i had a lot of fun playing the game with my sister over the weekend. Although I soon found out about the hight of the marraca hits not really mattering as much as older titels, it didn't take away from the fun. The wii one was way more frustrating. In that game I constantly got low scores, because some shakes where not registering, eventhough I knew I hit them right. I don't mind the more forgiving controles, since it is more about making a fool of yourself. And atleast the easy S rankings make me feel more vallidated for acting like a stupid monkey 😂
bro sega has been popping off lately. Sonic is being treated well with a lot of upcoming content, we have two new yakuza games coming this year and next year, we got persona 3 reload , we have new total war games coming out, there is a new sega shooter called hyenas,now we have samba de amigo back and there are also rumored crazy taxi and jsr games🔥🔥🔥
@GameXplain thanks Andre. I thought it was possible that was what that part of the video was referring to. I did watch the whole thing lol. I just wanted to confirm because I know there are games that require detachable joycons on the switch that aren't compatible with the switch lite
7:04 this is what I was thinking with the demo. The Wii game was near unplayable on higher difficulties, so to compensate they just made it super lenient. But now the game lacks any mastery and will get boring quicker.

I never played any of the Samba de Amigo games. I tried the demo out and it was super fun. I considering getting this game later in the future

Glad to see it is actually good. And I can see why this is exclusive to Switch and Oculus Quest, this gameplay cannot be replicated on other consoles.
I'm very glad that samba de amigo is on switch but im sad that Samba de amigo or Janeiro or not in the game, I really liked those
