One failing is that the machine doesn't have a guide designed to divert the cut hay into windrows. That's an advantage scythe mowing has over the BCS, aside from also being quiet and fuel free.
You first let the grass dry spreaded and after 1 or 2 days you put the hay in windrows. With the scythe after the scything you have to spread the grass out.
John, thanks for reviewing the video. I bought the majority of my attachments and the tractor itself from a Craigslist posting. Tractor, sickle, chipper, tiller, rotory plow, brush mower and wagon was $4,500.
Samuel Harper also the handles swivel to the opposite side for the tiller, so when he is tilling ( when you need the traction) the tires are in fact correct
I think you're cutting the hay one speed too high... (when viewed from the side) the grass is being pushed over instead of just cut-and-fall is what I'm seeing.
Dear sir thank you for the update, I should not have commented without the full information sam.
This tractor looks perfect for my pastures.
What model is it?
Also, what length is that sickle?
Thanks! Great video!
I want one so bad now
Do you still have it?

The noise aspect, you're right about!
how is the hay baling equipment? is it worth it for small acres?
It's expensive cost as much as the power head + as many as 3-5 other attachments.
Owner's manual says to run at half throttle to save wear and tear on the sickle bar attachment
I have bcs 730BCS tiller and recently purcased flial attachment not tried yet will it work
hello i was wondering what the b.c.s coast with all the farm tools that you have for it thank you john white

Helmstead USA yvstdwgsa.
Tyres on the wrong rotation but still works well
These reverse you know how much traction does he really need running a sickle vs a tiller?

He should have ear plugs. the machine is noisy.
