Eerie hidden house now a ghost farm with machinery and retro stuff in sheds left to decay

  • Hey explorers! This video I take you all for a look around another ghost farm with an eerie eccentric home. This property looks to have once been a thriving crop and cattle farm. Much of the old pieces of machinery remain in several old sheds including some really cool old vintage stuff from the house. The house itself has been built unusually maze like and is quite a mix of old styles and mixes and as you will see I was not alone in there.......... Another epic rural explore which I all hope you enjoy. Cheers for watching :-)

That old tv/record player belongs in a museum! That old washing machine and wringer brought back memories, my mum had one. It was a lot of work wringing out the soapy clothes into a laundry tub full of clean rinsing water then putting the washing back through the wringer, ready to hang out. Mind you the washing was still heavy, especially sheets and towels! I used one myself in the late seventies till we could afford an automatic which made washing so very much easier!🦘😕🙂🥴😁

That TV, I just love it.
Just got back from Cuba, a place I stayed in had a B&W TV from 1978 that was still in use. Spent hours watching it. Never been so fascinated with TV till then. My father has been looking for an old 50's or 60's TV for years now.

The rusty cylinderal shaped containers found in the shed are very early milk churns, used for the storage and transport of fresh milk. The giveaway is their manufacture from untreated metal with soldered handles, high chance manufactured by a local blacksmiths. Oncloser inspection, there's a high possibility of both a hand stamped manufacturing date and a plate indicating the farm and/ or owners. Later design churns were still hand made but galvanised, soldered, riveted, with a half turn locking lid that engaged pins for a positive lock, and the manufactor name embossed on the bottom with an embossed plate riveted and soldered onto both the lid and side of churn with the farms or stations name, usually with a product supply licence number. We have a 2 dozen churns throughout our house, all slightly different designs, filled with dried flowers ! Fitting repurpose ! Yet another great explore. Thanks Paul 👍👍🇦🇺

I really larf about the carpet in kitchen's of those days, was a bit of a thing then. This place had some great shed space and not badly built neither. I was never one for the art deco period, but still some nice pieces, with the fake marble tops. It sounded a nice peaceful spot, not a house I'd want to occupy though. Thanks for taking the time to do these vids, they're always interesting but sometimes heartbreaking to see such waste and delapadation.

The possums in Australia are much cuter than the American ones. Ours have bare rat like tails and snarl at you. If you got to use a hay elevator you had it made. My husband would tell me about his dad and older brother hauling hay. His brother was maybe 5 years old and would drive the hay truck, standing behind the wheel as it idled forward at a crawl. To stop he had to get down on the floor to push the brake pedal with his hands. His dad would walk alongside the truck and pick up the bales and throw them up on the flatbed of the truck. He would stop every so often to stack the bales up to make more room for more bales. He was bucking hay like that in his 60’s. Any time we bought hay in the field we would drive our trailer out and had a couple of boys we hired bucking and stacking it. High school kids, boys and girls alike, would hire out to buck hay every summer. Hot and heavy work.

Those were the days ... other than the broken fan in the shed, I didn't see a ceiling fan or air conditioner in the house. Hot in the summer and I think, cold in the winter. The corrugated iron walls collect the heat and don't insulate. Farmers used to do it hard 'in the day'. Income returned to their animal stock and equipment before themselves. As always, a great video. Thanks, Paul.

The tv set and turn table a great find👍
I was thinking the extra shed roof over the home/shack could help with insulation?
The old retro caravan out back could have been a cubby house for the kids, or an extra room.
Picking grapes, cutting appricots loading hay....the only way to teach kids the value of a dollar.

Two things in the states that baffle me. Why anyone would want either a bathroom or kitchen carpeted. I have lived in rental with kitchen carpet. And bought with carpet in bathroom. Nasty. Was going over with carpet cleaner weekly in rental. And bought ripped that stuff out and had regular flooring put down.

It is not the normal thing really here either TheLightbright01 although for me growing up it was in Mum`s kitchen haha :-) Cheers for watching

I've seen that quite often looking at houses. The old farmhouse we bought 26 yrs ago had carpeting everywhere, including green shag in the bathroom. Gross. Old people lived there, it was dated and carpeting hid the bad floors, plus people then thought it warmer, more comfortable. Ripping it all out and putting new flooring in took some effort and cost a bit, but necessary for cleanliness.

🌟Hi Paul, wow the home certainly did have an eerie feeling but nonetheless still had character. Aww the little possum hiding seemed very content to sit there. I used to feed a possum at the train station and other passers by would give it fruit 🍎 to eat sometimes people would stroke it’s fur. Another great explore thank you so much again 😊❤🌟x

We have palm trees in a line in our town whuch are home to many possums, people leave fruit for them so they come down to eat at night when the sun is setting....soo cute!

Hello Paul, that was a very different find. My parents come from Holland and over there the barns were attached to houses, but not all houses. All the bits and bobs in the sheds remind me of dad's shed every little bit of string, wire etc he found he would keep, I think this was past war thing to keep everything incase things run out. Thanks Paul the was very interesting find it would have very lonely living there. Do you ever get anyone contacting you saying that they had lived in the homes you explore it would be interesting to know the history.

    Hi Paul
This place certainly is CREEPY. Cool but creepy. Now let’s talk about that kitchen. It
looked like they put large sheets of paneling for a ceiling which were coming down.
Those possums had their eyes on you Paul. They were kind of cute but I wouldn’t
want to get bit by one and get rabies. That TV you found with the hidden record
player was the best thing in that house. A really cool find. It’s a shame they left
that there. It’s probably an antique now. This house was built in a strange way.
I think that room behind the kitchen was a dining room but right behind that was
a shed where you could park a car. That’s weird. Altogether interesting and I
enjoyed it. I love hearing the birds singing when you are outside. They sound so
    sweet. Stay safe and well.
PS Still waiting for you to show your face to us your fans. I think we deserve to know
    what you look like.🏚🦘

I agree…creepy place. Be a great place for a horror movie for sure. And that was quite a big place, and seems like it was a pretty big operation too. So much equipment, and outbuildings. You could tell they had lots of animals too. Very cool explore! And thanks for taking us!

Your dad sounded like mine. Showed us a little hard work does you good. Would love to see the entitled ones today spend a day on a farm or any physical job. Farming isn't for the faint of heart. Getting up at dawn and coming in at dark seven days a week. The best part is no boss ,it's yours and you get to live with nature. Thanks for braving the opossum. They can be mean.

Seems no one has been through there for quite some time. the T.V. & wringer washer date it pretty well to late 50's early 60's it may well be unoccupied since then. the aura of the close quiet is a bit unnerving. I was waiting for a ghost to tap you on the shoulder.....Cheers
