  • Have you wondered do I need a wood conditioner to give me the best stain? Well, this video is testing out if a wood conditioner is needed.
    In the video, I am testing on a scrap pine board that was sanded before applying anything. The test includes no conditioner, conditioner, and water. Yes, I did say water.
    Water is actually what I use as a conditioner and I wanted to test it out too. Come see for yourself what the results are.
