The reviews of ditto music look terrible from what I saw on google. Level music seems great, but also possibly too good to be true, they essentially offer the same thing as distrokid but for free. So i would use that one at your own discretion, I'm not sure what they are getting out of it, whether its a % or something else. I honestly recommend distrokid just because they are trusted and still a great value.
@Melih k I'm kind of surprised that worked for u 4 times, not the fact that Ditto stopped u. Right from the start they tell u that u must clearly have artist name and song title. Those are the 2 most important pieces of information. The picture ain't even necessary, it's just an eye catcher.
I almost went with Level when I decided not to go with Distrokid. I settled on Ditto because they offered more if u handled registration and all the paperwork on your own. That was already a requirement thru the free Amuse.io distributor I had used before. Plus Ditto is cheaper than Distro. And they help u get your own Vevo channel started (which will be monetized for u) even if u don't have enough subscribers on your TH-cam page to enable monetization. I think level said that if can get to their main office, u can have a video shoot set up for u free of charge. They didn't offer much else that set them apart in my opinion
I've watched a few different diy videos on DistroKid and Spotify... And too many times are those who try to push too much personality, which usually comes across spiritually fatty... If that makes sense. You are refreshing to watch. Thank you for this. To the point and very original. Subscribed. I'm going to try my first 2 week out release attempt today. I appreciate you!!
So, the more Releases (Singles, Tapes, Albums) i release, the more often i get the chance to submit a song and get into playlists, right? Btw nice video
Do you need to music uploaded at least once before you can do this or can you do it with your first round of music as a new artist on spotify/distrokid?
I believe you can upload a song, claim your profile, take it down, and re-schedule it though . (I havent tested this yet, but it should work in theory)
How is ditto or level music as compared to distrokid

Essentially yes. Thank you!!
Do you need to music uploaded at least once before you can do this or can you do it with your first round of music as a new artist on spotify/distrokid?
You do need at least one song up before doing this trick otherwise there's no other way to claim your spotify for artist profile.

@@Weaverbeats sweet thanks dude!
Hey brotha.....so can you up load an album and Distrokid will put all of those tracks in a playlist?
yes sir
@@Weaverbeats So you don't have to wait until one is cleared by the editors? They all the tracks in a playlist at the same time?
Release everything as a single so you can get everything playlisted and promoted individually. You can only pick one song from an album to promote
does it work if i delete a song, and submit it again?
It should if you have your artist name/account claimed already.
Great stuff
If my song is already out can I still submit it to the editors?
nope :(
Does the distrokid account have to be connected with spotify for artists or can they be like they are when you upgrade /set it up?
Do you need spotify premium to submit to curators?
no
Neat
I have an artist named kherbo check him out if you like his music send me a beat so we can split royalties and promote the song together
yooooOooOoooOo
