    I think he raised the price of gloves, in 2019 or 2018 when I was looking to buy them they cost 1000 euros if I remember correctly ... I thought to buy them but I changed my mind and eventually bought 3 pairs of gloves one blue cleto reyes 16oz, one red winning 14oz for bag work and winning 18oz costum colors and engravings for sparring...I spent as much money as I would on one Di nardo, maybe even a little less, in the future when I have the money to spend I will buy dinardo gloves but for now I think I did great with winning and reyes gloves ... I have been using reyes my whole life but I am extremely happy with the winning gloves, these are the best gloves I have tried!

    Hey Carlo I’ve been waiting for you to review and great review as always! These gloves are very nicely crafted and the leather looks best compared to other 1000 gloves that you reviewed but the price is insane haha. I would definitely consider purchasing a pair in the future and keep it as a time piece. Btw what is your personal top 3 favorite gloves mainly for bag that gives a lot of pop?

    Awesome glove 1250 euro to US dollar about 1500$ us.. I don’t doubt the quality but my budget 😂 is only around 150-400$ for boxing gloves which is still quite generous. Totally agree with the time piece definition. I’m pretty much doin the same with the whole boxing gym I built I will leave it for my son in the future if he wants to utilize it✊🏾✊🏾🙌🏾🥊

    • @csquaredboxing

      Agreed man. Normally this is a glove I wouldn’t purchase unless the circumstance called for it, but to each their own. Definitely similar to a timepiece compared to a standard watch. That was the best way I could describe it.

    Thank you for this review! If you could choose a new pair of Di Nardos mainly for bag work, mit work and occasional light and technical sparring, which padding would you choose -- Caestus, Tutela or Tutela Evo? I am somehow drawn to Caestus because I like direct feeling and pop when hitting. Or is the more modern Tutela Evo just better? Tough choice..

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly only you can answer that. Everyone has different preferences in level of protection, feedback, and feel. I went with Tutela Evo because it’s a balance of both.

    Before DiNardo that we know today came about, it was a company called "Mason(s)". Can anyone verify if these were the gloves Joe Calzaghe used to train in? They were red and had the same symbol in the same location but much smaller. His father said that they were Joe's favorite gloves and he used them almost exclusively throughout his career after he got them.
    Anyways, DiNardo gloves, shoes and all other leather products are quite literally one of a kind pieces of art. For myself and many other people, these gloves hold a value that appreciates over time. I can't wait to get mine!

    • @customerservice9602
      @customerservice9602 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For authentic Mexican gloves that are more reasonably priced I would recommend real Casanova's ( Casanova ). I haven't bought a pair in A LONG time but liked the fit better than the Cleto's of the time but the leather and stitching was not as good. Also the liner is kind of weird. I also tried some of Title Boxing's "Boxeo" training gloves and they are modeled after Cleto's ( at least my older ones were ) and they are decent.
