The Rival HDE and RB50 are for sure my favorite gloves I've had. The only real difference is that for the extra money of the HDE you get a bit better wrist support. The outer pad layer of the RB50 came apart after 2 years, but the inner lining of the HDE was shredded after 2 years. Maybe I hit too hard. Would buy again.
Great video! I remember watching your original rb50 bag glove video and that convinced to purchase the gloves! It also helped that as a Canadian the company was also Canadian so I didn’t have to pay for customs 😂
Love the RB50's but since last time I used them my knuckles are hurting. I like their lack of bulkiness - they are user friendly, and are easy to make a fist in. Also great value for the price as you say.
RB50s are my favorite, too. I noticed the Rival shop snuck a different model of the RB50s into the shop and then removed them within a day. They were mostly white with black intelli-shock pad and black wrist strap. The hook and loop ergolock was changed to a wristlock strap like Rival RB1s have. They looked interesting, but were removed fast.
www.walmart.com/ip/Rival-Boxing-RB50-Intelli-Shock-Compact-Bag-Gloves-Black-White/524370334 Walmart still has them listed, but I was wrong about the wrist. They're still ergolocks.
Nice list! I’m really interested to see how you feel about the rival rb1 2.0! They are snug with great wrist protection and you can really make a nice fist. I believe they also use the same synthetic leather as the rs1 2.0.
Hello Carlo. Is the Guerrero HDE-F more shock absorbent than the Guerrero Intelli-Shock ? It looks like XRD & D30 prevent sore knuckles more than shock. The good thing about Phenom from looking on there site, is both the XRT & XDT come in lace up versions.
Thanks man, great info. Until I bought a pair of 16oz T3's, I always suffered with soar hands. Will the R50 give me as much hand & wrist protection/support as the Hayabusa T3? I'm thinking I need the R50's for heavy bag days, but wondering if I should stick with my trusty old T3's to avoid hand injuries. What do you think?
Just checked the rival website for the rb50- they are now $89! Supposedly the reinvented new version- did you check out the new rb50? Are they the same ones your talking about in the video?
Hi “Coke”, I own both RB-10 and Guerrero gloves. Love them both. Guerrero’s are much more narrow than the RB-10 gloves, they are a bit snug for my hands which are average I guess. If I had to choose 1, I would keep my RB-10 gloves. But with that said, I’m enjoying my cyber edition Guerrero’s, even though I wish they were a click bigger. I hope this helps!
I have a 12oz Everlast Powerlock Glove. Get a great pop on the bag. Love it, but they are beat up. If I wanted to go with one of these, which do you recommend?
I have tried RB5, RB50, RB80, RB10, RB11, and Guerrero. My favorite is RB5 and then Guerrero because of the feedback, the accuracy and flexibility and broken in feel. RB10 and RB11 really feels the same as Carlo reviewed and I personally don't like the gloves that lock my entire wrist in a fixed position. RB50 and RB80 are like middle of flexibility and fixed, I just personally don't like them.
What glove size would you recommend for Bag Gloves only? 10 to 12 oz is good? I will use them only for the heavy bag and mitts, i use 16oz for sparring
@@csquaredboxing And if I put the venum impact on the list in 60 dollars? I am a little worried about what you said in the review of the rival impulse because I also do muay thai and I understood that the Rival had difficulty opening their palm to block.
Which ones better for the heavy bag I had cheap everlast gloves and they hurt the wrist Rival RB 10s or heyabusa t3s ? And what has more pop too the bag
I appreciate the fact that the top bag glove on your list is also the most affordable on your list. If price isn't a factor would this glove still make your top 5 for a bag mitt/glove?
@@csquaredboxing thanks my man. Bought them on your recommendation and couldn't be happier. Thanks for all you do. Wish you luck on your continued success.
Hi, can you make a review about the ringside tornado free standing heavy bag? I consider buying it but I cant find a review on youtube Cheers from Mexico
Ah man, I just watched all of your review videos on bag gloves yesterday and settled on the RB11s. Of course this video would drop the very next day 🤦🏽♂️.
Why are the gloves so big? I ve recently bought a heavy bag to try and lose some weight but I hated the massive gloves I was told to buy, so I bought wraps which I use instead or smaller 8 ounce gloves, is that bad?
Ive spent probably the last 3 hours watching your videos AMAZING stuff man. I am 5'9, 160, longer fingers, looking for a boxing glove at or below the $200 price point that will offer me the most protection for my knuckles, hand, wrist. Right now after watching, the Title Gel World V2T Bag Gloves 16 oz (come out to be around $120 after discount) are at the top of my list but if you could suggest your MOST PROTECTIVE and COMFORTABLE bag gloves under $200 that would be awesome. My heavy bag is rock hard (KO Fightgear) and currently using UMA RT-41 14oz gloves so I wanted something with more knuckle/hand protection and comfort. Thanks for all you do!
@@csquaredboxing Anytime! So could you please recommend the most protective for hands and knuckles / wrist - bag glove for a really hard heavy bag. Currently using a UMA RTA 41 14 oz Winning clone bag from Pakistan. Thanks
If you are looking to do conditioning and train your muscles for when you do fight go for 16oz if you want to work on speed and technique people go for lighter on the bag for more feedback less pillow feel.
