So here's my take on this. The beginning of the video has quotes from The Book of Revelations/Apocalypse of the Apostle John/Yohanen Shilah, who had been granted sights of the end of the world. Many people correlate the events that were predicted to be that of a "new world government" with a big-brother's watching mentality (the beast that convinces people to worship it, ect). The lyrics mention "give thanks to your golden calf", which is in reference to the Exodus story. The Israelites, who just escaped Egypt, began to worship a false god, which was a cow they made from their gold jewelry while Moses was in the mountains speaking to Yaweh. The footage, if I'm not mistaken is from recent anti-government protests in France. This within itself is interesting because the lyrics also mention Ogmios, who was a god of deceit and persuasion who the Gaul's believed in in France in pre-Roman times. You could compare the beast from Revelations, the Calf, and Ogmios as all being deceitful entities, such as an overbearing and oppressive government. Glanzman is making a political statement.

Great interpretation. Also wanted to add to this as i've seen people ask "Rīgē Sesroneū" = "Praise to the king Sesroneos" giving your analysis more credibility. As Sesroneos was a giant who conquered "the people of the west", i.e. the Celts. As Europeans and Americans "people of the west" king Sesroneos can be interpreted as our governments.
Could you point me in the direction of Ogmios being a god of deceit? Of the sources I have found he is a god of persuasion, but haven't found anything that specifically implies deceit. I can see where the two would go hand in hand though.

metal fan for over 3 decades and i the intro to this gets me everytime. fires em up like no other. previously was forced to be religious (no longer am) and it adds a layer to the song that i think folks like me can only understand. i remember reading the verses in class and thinking they were brutal and badass. that was met with "you worship satan" so you can see why i might dig the lyrics. Revelation (last chapter of the bible) is one of the most wild graphic novels ever written from the old age. Lots of dragons. Tons of zombies; actual zombies and not Lazerus. Nazis even quoted it with "the reign of 1000 years", yes the Nazis quoted the bible and used it to propel their fucked agenda. This song feels like a big middle finger to religion and i love it.

According to this story Seseroneos would overthrown the kings forcing them to settle a new order. ( Book of Clitophon of Rhodes, foundation of cities XIII ) The question is...Is this and monotheistic religions the new order or not? Did Sesroneos presents the old tradition of the old gods and the truth? Or maybe he want to create a new order too base on darkness? Who is the evil at the end? Those or him? We never know.
