I also heard Hansi on an interview say that a live album/ DVD/ Blu-ray will hopefully be coming out sometime next year. They taped a few of their shows from their 2019 tour and I am definitely looking forward to that also.

@@joel1a Jon Schaeffer is very limited as a guitarist, I'm sorry to say. Over all the years, he did not improve his skills, never heard a good solo from him from a technical perspective. It is all the voice of Hansi and the producer's skills.

Very multi-layered song, I'm totally in love with Hansi's more soft and quiet singing, but I take pleasure in the whole concept of this song, and Jons Riffs are so awesome! And does he sing, too? This might be the best Demons & Wizards song ever! That main melodic guitar riff, the drums, the structure of the song and Hansi’s vocals are amazing. Especially his vocals around 7.11-7.28 are phenomenal! Can’t wait for the new album. I hope you’ll announce a tour soon.
The clip looks expensive aaaand it's worth it!!! First i thought "oh no cheap CGI" but then it got really good with the makeup, acting and dark themed ambience. Also very nice cutting job here in respect of the music. Great clip and superb music!!!!!!!
It's about fucking time!!! I love this video...I don't have the slightest clue what's happening...but I love it...and I could probably say that about 80% of the metal videos I watch. I listen to a ton of Iced Earth and Blind Guardian but as soon as Hansi's vocals started the first thought to pop into my head was the very first time I heard "Heaven Denies" almost 20 years ago...jesus it's been 20 years?!? Something about the combo of Hansi's voice and Jon's riffs that carve their unique style into your mind. I feel like even if you wiped my memory of D&W I could listen to anyone of their songs and know it isn't Blind Guardian or Iced Earth
This song is absolutely terrific. I didn't realize it's something I needed after listening non-stop to orchestral music (you know which one) until I heard it. Good old metal, feels so fresh and full of life. Btw, the intro reminds me of the music from Max Payne's dream levels. Every time I hear the first minute I think of playing Max Payne.
I was quite disappointed at first when I heard it was going to be an orchestral thing, but when I finally listened to it, it turned out to be amazing. Orchestra isn't my thing either, but that album is worth listening to. Give it a try, at least to track called Dark Cloud's Rising. I think it's number 5 on the album. Don't let the word "orchestra" scare you away. And after you have listened to the album, listen to Diabolic again, you will like it even more.

And kind of feel like I am missing something.Then something about the song just sticks in my mind. 20 listens later I am addicted. It is something about the way the songs are layered that they take a good few listens before I 'understand' them.

I bought this CD having no clue as to what it would sound like, I remembered a friend of mine liked Iced Earth years ago, so I gave it a go. I love it when I find an unexpected favorite, while not realizing I was looking for it. I have bought a lot of crappy releases by bands that I have expected so much more from over the last two years, DEMONS AND WIZARDS are the kick ass exception. I try to recomend this to friends who remain ignorant and uninitiated. Brilliant metal musicians.

Jon and Hansi created high quality very dark and atmospheric power metal song and video for the fist album track of upcoming album "III" (intro was amazing) - these people means much more than words can say for the metal music and for me - and since 1991 year till now ICED EARTH and BLIND GUARDIAN are my metal gods (especially 1990 - 2000 albums) when i first heard "Iced earth" 1991 and "Somewhere far beyond" in 1992. It was a blast in my school youth)) I'm almost 44 now and i know every song's words in mind and can sing it even i would be awaken by force at night with screams: " Sing now! Sing Written on the walls and Journey through the dark NOW!!!" ;-)))

This is astonishing, i want this album, it's a great sequel from Heaven Denies. Hansi's voice is better than never, his double tracking voices are wonderful, i love his voice, Jon's riff is diabolic, thanks for this video and song. Yeahh.

You know a song is good when you moderately like it when you 1st hear it. Then it gets better and better the more listen to it. That's this song. I feel like songs I really love right off the bat, I get tired of quickly. It's the ones that grow on you that are epic....

Well, I wonder. Could this happen to be the best DEMONS & WIZARDS album yet?? This song (for me) is above what they've done before... the atmospheric bits are beyond words, and darn if that is not the right ending for a song! It just leaves everyone wanting more! I commend Hansi and Jon for bringing the FIRE back... well literally. :)))

This might be the best Demons & Wizards song ever! That main melodic guitar riff, the drums, the structure of the song and Hansi’s vocals are amazing. Especially his vocals around 7.11-7.28 are phenomenal! Can’t wait for the new album. I hope you’ll announce a tour soon.

The clip looks expensive aaaand it's worth it!!! First i thought "oh no cheap CGI" but then it got really good with the makeup, acting and dark themed ambience. Also very nice cutting job here in respect of the music. Great clip and superb music!!!!!!!

It's about fucking time!!! I love this video...I don't have the slightest clue what's happening...but I love it...and I could probably say that about 80% of the metal videos I watch. I listen to a ton of Iced Earth and Blind Guardian but as soon as Hansi's vocals started the first thought to pop into my head was the very first time I heard "Heaven Denies" almost 20 years ago...jesus it's been 20 years?!? Something about the combo of Hansi's voice and Jon's riffs that carve their unique style into your mind. I feel like even if you wiped my memory of D&W I could listen to anyone of their songs and know it isn't Blind Guardian or Iced Earth
This song is absolutely terrific. I didn't realize it's something I needed after listening non-stop to orchestral music (you know which one) until I heard it. Good old metal, feels so fresh and full of life.
Btw, the intro reminds me of the music from Max Payne's dream levels. Every time I hear the first minute I think of playing Max Payne.
Just listened to Beyond the Red Mirror. Haven't heard the orchestral project. Not really into it. This looks awesome though.
I was quite disappointed at first when I heard it was going to be an orchestral thing, but when I finally listened to it, it turned out to be amazing. Orchestra isn't my thing either, but that album is worth listening to. Give it a try, at least to track called Dark Cloud's Rising. I think it's number 5 on the album. Don't let the word "orchestra" scare you away. And after you have listened to the album, listen to Diabolic again, you will like it even more.

Sinceramente, esperava muito, mas MUITO mais, dessa dupla aí, ainda mais, por ter a certeza que eles são totalmente capazes de nos entregar resultados da mais alta qualidade (quanto mais se tem, mais cobrança há), assim como foi demonstrado no Demons & Wizards (1999). Apesar de não achar o resultado ruim (bem longe disso, diga-se de passagem) espero muito que o resto do álbum seja BEM superior.
Simplesmente Fantastico!!!! é um puta projeto dos caras e uma pena que ficou tanto tempo parado mas é animal.....

And kind of feel like I am missing something.Then something about the song just sticks in my mind. 20 listens later I am addicted. It is something about the way the songs are layered that they take a good few listens before I 'understand' them.

I bought this CD having no clue as to what it would sound like, I remembered a friend of mine liked Iced Earth years ago, so I gave it a go. I love it when I find an unexpected favorite, while not realizing I was looking for it. I have bought a lot of crappy releases by bands that I have expected so much more from over the last two years, DEMONS AND WIZARDS are the kick ass exception. I try to recomend this to friends who remain ignorant and uninitiated. Brilliant metal musicians.

Jon and Hansi created high quality very dark and atmospheric power metal song and video for the fist album track of upcoming album "III" (intro was amazing) - these people means much more than words can say for the metal music and for me - and since 1991 year till now ICED EARTH and BLIND GUARDIAN are my metal gods (especially 1990 - 2000 albums) when i first heard "Iced earth" 1991 and "Somewhere far beyond" in 1992. It was a blast in my school youth)) I'm almost 44 now and i know every song's words in mind and can sing it even i would be awaken by force at night with screams: " Sing now! Sing Written on the walls and Journey through the dark NOW!!!" ;-)))
