This is one of the only house tours I have watched MULTIPLE times- on purpose! It is one of the most beautiful houses Ive ever seen on this platform. It is spacious without seeming cavernous, modern without seeming austere, classic without seeming stodgy or dated, and luxurious without seeming over the top. Amazing design and wonderful narration!❤
So I think I just found my new favouite interior designer. Unreal. I was already thinking about how i'd personalise the inside to fit my likes but this place, the space. His mind is just MAGICAL.
This one seems to me to be truly timeless. Particularly with those "oversized windows" (his words), I just don't see how this house will ever date itself.
In a number of scenes, like at 3:56 in the video, there are these metal objects coming out of the stone tiles on the roof. Does anybody know what they are and what they are for? Is it a fire sprinkler system?
It looks absolutely wonderful and very tasteful. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the two large brick walls of the greenhouse with circular windows, next the to pool 0:05. Compared to the level of detail and intricacy of the rest of the house, this looks quite out of place. But if I had enough money to buy this house, I'm sure it would be no problem for me to redesign those two walls, right? 😄
The brick walls of the conservatory were left from the house that was originally on the property. We rebuilt it and refurbished what we could; the walls have a patina that you can't recreate as new. Thanks for your comment.

How many bedrooms? How many bathrooms? How many powder rooms? What is the square footage? Are the fireplaces gas or wood burning? Does the home have a 3-car garage or can it fit more cars? How large is the property (i.e. 1 acre)? What is the cost of the home? Give me details. Don't just show me a poorly done short video that is incomplete at best... From what I can see, the home is spectacular. But I don't know where the house is located because the video did not tell us. Maybe the house is located in fantasyland.
This house is drop dead gorgeous---So many beautiful properties but this one for example never brings to my mind--CHILDREN----From what is shown is not what I call children's comfort areas at all---Still a beautiful home
That is not a house. It is a museum...cold and lifeless except for what little art is displayed. Some of it is questionable. The outside is beautiful but the inside has no soul.
When is a good time to move your expensive artwork into your newly constructed home? And would you be comfortable displaying it and your location on TH-cam? Or would you exercise a modicum of discretion?
I'm sorry but that house is an insult to French Chateaus. The balloon framed structure and peel and stick rockwork doesn't make a French Chateau. This is a typical McMansion with "french inspired" design, but completely misses the mark.
Explain what details are insulting to you? And how you can tell what masonry was installed here? And my opinion is that you are being way over the top by calling a $20+ million dollar custom designed home a McMansion. Why abuse the term?
