Idles are great! I also love Fontaines D.C. and Protomartyr, who have a similar post-punk sound. I just got myself an album by The Homesick called The Big Exercise. They are Dutch and the album is great indie rock. It is my favorite album that I have heard from last year.
If you like Deep Purple's "In Rock", I recommend you consider getting the live album "Made In Japan". There's a good recent remaster, and for a live album the recording quality is very good. And they were confident enough to make it just seven long tracks, on a double album. Best live album ever, imo. Oh, I have to play it now :-)

Great selections....saw Bon Iver in a small seated gig when they released For Emma Ago...one of the most spine tingling love shows. Saw IDLES 2 years ago.....absolutely blew me away.
Glad to see another video here! I really loved seeing your walkthrough of the shops, city and shopping area. You have a nice eye for showing off kool visuals, so that was really interesting to watch. I know a lot of people are really into Idles right now, I have a lot of friends that are into their latest album. I'm also a big fan of post-punk but I haven't checked them out yet. I might now since you recommended it.
Saw lots of good stuff!! So many awesome record stores too, and I spotted a Thai restaurant lol the Thai places in Sydney were some of the best Thai I ever had. Hope one day I can visit Melbourne. Love Australia 🇦🇺! Thank you for taking us out
@@kirawasadiver 😁 I have all of Bon Iver album except the one you got. I don’t know why I never got it, just seemed so similar to For Emma. Which I don’t know if that’s true.
Welcome back… I hope you had a great Christmas🤗 I love that Deep Purple Record a lot and hopefully you will as well.. Thank you for taking me along on your record hunting trip. I think it would be fun to go record hunting with you.. Take care..
You should also give Deep Purple ‘Burn and Fireball and Machine Head, and when David Coverdale sang for Deep Purple one of my favorite DP albums ‘Storm-bringer’ Also try one of their later albums from 1984 ‘Perfect Strangers’.. I look forward to your reviews on any of those albums, or maybe you have all ready 😉
Aloha from Hawaii, I am addicted to The IDLES and felt the same way after listening to Crawler, I had to bUy their other albums as well. Great choice 👍 HAPPY New Year
As someone from Perth, I thought this video was filmed in winter when you put your scarf on... then I saw the Christmas decorations around the city LOL. Alcest-Les Iris If you haven't heard this band, then I would highly recommend checking them out. Alcest are absolutely flawless. The most beautiful music ever.

The Milton Nascimento is essential business. Found an OG this year. Did I see an autographed Hiatus Kaiyote LP on the wall? So in the bins Four Tet Rounds is a must own. Good to see you back.
Great to see you posting again. Good to see you out and about too. The Deep Purple album is very good. Probably their 2nd best after Machine Head. You should have grabbed the ELP Trilogy album too.
I've heard Idles on TH-cam but don't own anything by them. I've been on a Robbie Basho album kick for the past week. Kind of an eccentric acoustic guitar player and vocalist. Nobody looked like him, played like him or sang like him. He gets lumped in with the American Primitive guitar people but he's really in a class of his own. We have maybe a dozen of his albums. Absolutely the opposite of summer here. Freezing cold. Been snowing for days. Back breaking shoveling has been my main activity. Took us 2 hours yesterday to shovel out to the road. They never got around to plowing the road so we couldn't go anywhere. Maybe today?

@@kirawasadiver Yeah. In late fall a couple of years ago the region was on fire and this year heavy snow. Lake Tahoe (south of me) has had the most snow for December, in the past 50 years.
