Amazing - and a very good tutorial which I look forward to try. The only thing missing would be an explanation why you adjust the sliders and what that does.
Thanks for your comment! I like to get straight to the point in my videos which I know can leave out some other details. Maybe I can go deeper into each setting in another video?
Thank you so much, I tried your method and it was excellent. I am a wildlife photographer and I struggle with cutting the hair of lions and big cats, and your method was much better than professionals. 👍🏻
Cheers! But the hair mask never works well for me. I set the same numbers as you recommended but it always removes too much of the subject (even when I'm quite careful of just hitting the hair).
@@CreatorFix it's a portrait but I didn't use a hair light (unfortunately) so het dark hair blends into the dark background. I got there to separation from the subject in Lightroom, but unfortunately in Photoshop the selection tool didn't work well. So! I just used content aware fill and generative fill to extend the backdrop and make the background uniform. Hope to one day master selection
@Q2Japan dark hair on a dark background will be tricky as the software will struggle to see it to highlight it. I’ll try and find a better solution for you
@DhanyaDays sorry, I mean, what does your image look like? Sometimes photoshop struggles to define where the outline of the subject is if there is no clear contrast.
I always set my programs to default to reflect what most users will see. Which version of Photoshop are you using and which thing are you not finding in your application?

Nice job with the hair! 💇♂️ It always gets tricky when removing the background 💯👏
Thank you! It sure does 😅
Thank you. Such a simple and easy to understand video for a beginner like me :D
I’m glad you found it helpful!
this is the most useful and quickest photoshop tutorial that exists.

I liked that it was straight to the point without the waffle. I can't take lots of instructions. Have you got more photoshop tricks ?
I’m glad you found it helpful! I have some more photoshop tutorials in a playlist on my channel. I am currently working on some new ones too! 😁
Wow amazing, finally something else tha the lasso or "cutting" the image....

Can you describe your image?

@@CreatorFix I appreciate it! But in general the feather selection never worked for me 😂 but I'll try it out another time. Cheers!
@Q2Japan you’re welcome ☺️ good luck!
Very straight and educating, thank you so much
You’re welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful 😁
Super helpful thank you
You’re welcome ☺️
For some reason the paint brush was selecting everything around the subject and the mask was ruined. I followed and reflowed your tutorial to a tee
Were your settings set to default before starting?
I just clicked on the layer and pressed the "remove background" button tho and that worked
That’s great! That works in most cases, however with fine wispy hair - this method is better
@@CreatorFix was wondering if it was the wispy hair. i went back and used your method and it was a lot better for the hair… thanks for the tips!!
@@landonmatthew you're welcome! I'm glad it worked out for you 😊

Thank you, your was just the video I was looking for

subject is not working in my photoshop 2024
Strange… it worked in mine a couple hours ago. What type of image are you using?
@@CreatorFix jpg and png
@DhanyaDays sorry, I mean, what does your image look like? Sometimes photoshop struggles to define where the outline of the subject is if there is no clear contrast.
@@CreatorFix I took the photo with canon R camera
@DhanyaDays the quality of the camera doesn’t make a difference if there’s no clear contrast between subject & background unfortunately
Good Video
Thank you!
The thing with MOST all tutorials, you assume the user has the SAME menus showing. YOU NEED to say "If you don't see XXX, do this...."
I always set my programs to default to reflect what most users will see. Which version of Photoshop are you using and which thing are you not finding in your application?
Thanks

It rubbed out my persons hair instead
Oh no! Did you follow the settings in the video?
Didn't work
Which part didn’t work?
@@CreatorFix i dont have "Subject" on Select Tab
don't work
Can you describe the image you’re trying to do this on?
results are not great
What type of image are you using?
@@CreatorFix 4k resolution video was shot of a fuzzy mascot. I took that 4k still frame and saved it as jpg.
@Rachelcenter1 what colour is the mascot vs the background?
and by fuzzy i mean furry
@@CreatorFix blue and blue (face palm)
Fake
What is fake?
@@CreatorFix 😅🤣😂

This literally doesnt work, still has background
This video is a waste of time
