Just finished it. Epic show. Gritty n raw. Acting n writing is top notch. Too bad it's only 1 season.

I am currently two episodes into the series and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm watching it slowly, one ep a night if I can, it's really tense, like a powder keg is about to explode and it's super interesting. Im really invested in this point of american history, I might have to get some books on it and do a deeper dive.

I wish they put that out sooner, so I could have reviewed the most recent one. I think Disney just put out a new trailer for Thunderbolts* i might review that because I havent reviewed their other trailer which I have seen many times now. 😊

I'm an Ex-Mormon from Utah, so I'm going to have to restart my Netflix subscription for a month just to watch this show, lol. 😂
I'm suprised that there aren't more movies and shows about the Utah War of 1857, it's an incredibly interesting part of American history that most people know nothing about. The only other thing I can think of that took place during it was the movie September Dawn, which was pretty horrible. Terrence Stamp (the guy who played General Zod is Superman 2) played Brigham Young in it, which is horrible casting.

I'm 45, and in my brain I remember a movie that touched on the Mormons v. indigenous and I remember nothing about it. But, I remember thinking, "Oh, I didn't know the Mormons, had a violet history like that." Now, fast forward to today, I totally forgot all about it until I started watching this series (I'm only done episode 1) and I was like "OHHHHH We gonna talk about this stuff now, I'm really invested now." Thanks for bringing up the Utah War of 1857 btw, I'm going to start reading about that soon. I am currently deep in Canadian history right now, trying to just learn more. :) I'm probably going to do a review about this series whenever I finish it, I'm not binge watching it because I want to enjoy each episode. :)
