I have an undercut hairstyle and first time i got that cut my hair was down to almost the middle of my back when it was done i wanted to do something fun so i went out and bought a box of loreal colorista semi permanent hair dye in a dark turquise color i loved it now im back to blonde and currently looking for a new color maybe pink or dark red

I feel like that wasn't the shade of pink she wanted, like the pastel pink from her cosplay

yeah and it's a bit on the purple side. Which I personaly don't like and yeah once again that's not what she showed
At least it will fade.. but to be honest I didn't love the cut. Kind of reminds me of an 8 year old lol not to be mean. And her reaction kind of seemed forced I don't think she loved it

I’m actually in school to become a cosmetologist. And I HATE when the teachers just start cutting our clients hair without asking
It’s usually because the teachers think the client needs a hair cut. Which in most cases yeah they need a trim. But In no way would I ever cut someone’s hair without asking. It’s so disrespectful!

Wasn’t sure if it was shock or pure hatred. I had a balayage done last year and hated how it resulted. Two to three weeks of seeing myself Tina turner blonde as I called it helped me come around.

It’s uneven because she applied the color onto wet hair which you should never do. It’s going to wash out way faster than if she had applied it to dry hair.

it's cause she went all the way to the root and allowed the magenta to stain her scalp... it's always best to leave a tiny bit of natural hair (or do a shadow root) so it doesn't look like a party city wig.

Some of these hairdressers are really not doing a good job.
She wanted kind of a baby pink as it seemed and she got a patchy magenta pink-purpleish mix with a playmobil cut.

@@beatriceladouce965 I know, still it was patchy and if I were her I would have wanted my desired colour when i leave the salon, not only when I altered it at home (eg through washing). But I guess I'm pretty critical on this one 😁
@@beatriceladouce965 it should be done right first time round tho. I'm a hairdresser and if I'm not able to achieve something for whatever reason I tell them before. Pale pink is not difficult with the right tools
I like the color but I'm not a fan of the lord Farquad/ Dora the explorer haircut. It makes her hair look like an old fashioned wig.

This is the worst transformation I've seen on this playlist... She looked so pretty with her natural hair color, and with the cosplay wig she looked like a goddess, it complimented her skin so well. What the hell they did to her hair, the photos she shows are this very specific anime pink, now she has this patchy lilac bob. I bleached and dyed my own brown hair by myself, using cheap ass gentian violet and it was better than this. I hope she is able to get the right pink once it fades, she deserves it.

I know!! So its not that they missed spots they actually saturated really well but the problem was her hair didn't evenly lift to a light enough blonde so the pink took more dull in certain areas. Which is also why they couldn't put on a pastel pink like she asked for. A pastel only shows on hair that's lighted to a white blonde

And no, that color will NOT magically fade to the pastel pink that she wanted. It's too purple, too cool toned for that.

I recently got my hair dyed pink, I'm damn loving it. I originally wanted Pastel light pink like her , after going to my hairdresser we had a chat about it she wanted to go more vibrant, because pastels fade out fast(and my hair has since faded to pastel anyway), it seems like this girl didn't get any of that and my hairdresser checked the dye color with me before she put it on my head, it seems as if the hairdresser didn't involve her or listen to what she wanted. It's so much deeper than just hair and to just cut without asking was so disrespectful.
I don’t like the length with that hair color, but her hair will grow and the color will drop. This color and cut will continue to evolve.

Beautiful transformation! It’ll fade to the lighter pink in a few washes. As a stylist, I always advise to go darker with your vivids at first, so they last longer and fade to the tone you love. She looks great with pink!
I've been in the depressed "I love it" monotone voice before. I think she has some opinions on her hair. good ones but overshadowing bad ones too.

3:10 ok it’s really patchy and way darker than what she expected, not that nice pastel bubblegum but this dark magenta... and at the begging she even mentioned that she was afraid that it wasn’t gonna be the color she wanted and stuff. I saw the mistake as soon as she started mixing the colors...

To anyone who is thinking of going a wacky colour, it is well worth doing, but you need to think about how often you'll need it redoing (usually every 6 weeks is a good marker) & think about spreading out the cost over 2 paychecks. Also consider what you will need to do when you no longer want that colour. Ask your hairdresser for advice on whether it can be stripped out without damaging your hair or will it be a gradual return to your natural colour over multiple appointments.

I can tell in a second when I saw that patchiness I knew the color line they used was joico. Not the stylists fault, just a crap color line that the minute you try and mix different shades you get spottiness and not the same color outcome than what you see in the bowl. Luckily since it’s stay power sucks It’ll fade in a week and be more of her goal anyways.

I'm not digging that cut/style. I actually think that length looks lovely, and the straight with the blunt bottoms, but it should have had layers and thinned out. If that was done, it would have less of a "dora the explorer" look. I loved the shade she had on the wig!

The salon is called CutLoose BK in NY. If you look them up you will see this is the only type of "pink" they always do (and yes - it's always patchy). I don't know if they are as bad with other things but...
When she said she was scared the colour won't be the one she wants and I saw the magenta dye they were putting on he hair... My heart just broke for her.
Especially since the pastel pink colour is something I have done at home a lot and never had any problems.

The color came out really nice but that was not the color she wanted lol. Also the cut was meh.
I’m very confused as to why she added so much purple. All she needed to do was use a really dark purple (almost blue) shampoo to take out some of the yellow after the hair was bleached, and put a diluted pink with a tiny bit of peach mixed in on the hair. It also seems a bit splotchy.
At the end of the day though, if she’s happy with her new color than that’s all that matters I guess

i have pink hair and the upkeep is honestly insane. the dye lasts about two weeks, and from then on u have to use pink shampoo to keep up your hair, which only really suits certain hair types.
