Also green and pink cancel each other out. People add pink to blonde hair that started to turn green from chlorine or otherwise to remove the tone. Could by why your ends are blue. The money piece was a deeper pink, which blocked the blue because of the yellow undertone. Also potentially because the hair is healthier and blue stains porous hair(the ends) but not more healthy hair(the money piece).

Green and red cancel each other actually :) (not pink and green)
Kinga Długa pink/red. Even overtone sells a pink tone color to cancel green thats how they advertise it. Not true green, like murky blonde green lmaoooo otherwise red/orange is killed by blue
@@RedHairedRiot Pink has some red in it, so it may cancel some green. But looking just at the pure color theory, the color that is opposite to green is red, not pink :)
The pairs of opposite colors that cancel each other are:
Red Green (blue+yellow)
Blue Orange (yellow+red)
Yellow Purple (blue+red)

So I had emerald/jade green and now it has faded a lot and it’s green green now. Just a warning to anybody who want to dye their hair emerald!
This reminds me of when I had a peacock green too and once it faded it looked seaweed grassy green 😂😭 and it was a pain to get out of my hair so thanks for the reminder I shouldn’t go back to the blue family 😭😂

As someone who watched your emerald green video over and over and went from red hair to green hair specifically because of watching your video, I can confirm that your video HUGELY inspired me. I didn't take quite this approach, though. I went around the color wheel over the course of 6 months lol

green and red are opposites on the color wheel so they cancel each other out so that's why you got the color you did in the swatch.

Haha green and pink cancel out. If I wanna get rid of faded pink, I add more green tones. If I wanna get rid of faded blech green, I add pink tones (usually magenta, purples or blues with warmer tones, etc)

My hairs is jade green from the aqua and Poseidon blue. Artic fox sticks well to freshly fryed hair. 👍👀
I would have put the aqua down first, just to get the base blue, then do the green afterward, even with some yellow mixed in to give it some brightness on top of the blue. Green is opposite from pink/red, I'm really surprised the blue and green combo turned out green instead of brown. It's possible the blue pulled the pink into purple enough. It's possible there was already blue pigment in the formulation of the pink. Interested to see how it fades. 👌
The red in the pink and the green combine to form gray; the white in the pink lightens everything so what would otherwise be a medium gray is actually a light gray. as best we can tell, depending on exactly what shade of pink and what shade of green.

I think we're the same. I'm not touching my roots at all and letting them grow out... also staying away from bleach. but I cant stop dying the bottom of my hair different colors. I just did pink and its a bit too tame. Maybe I should attempt the green...im just scared it wont wash out for a long ass time lol.

I just did mine pink and every time I wash it with the right shampoos even if it’s days or a week later it instantly strips the color out it’s annoying!!
