It could be due to the old crew leaving to form 10 chambers studio, then you end up hiring people who were a fan of the first two games to make the third, and the source of inspiration changes.

The team does make amazing animations for these guns. I just hope the in-game economy smooths out. I just feel like a majority of heists don’t pay well for the time it takes to do them.

i dont like the spinning of the empty reload personally but its look smooth and clean which feel satisfying compared to the ak one which look very weird.
the increase in reload animation quality with the DLC weapons compared to the release weapons is actually comical but really great besides some questionable stiffness and exaggerated movement in the animations everything with the guns is really good, especially the inspects. it's all just brought down by the subpar sound effects

Good news, they have said that over time, they'll also update the basegame inspect animation (so far, they have done that only for the Overkill weapons and ARs, but they did give them all a minor tweak in regards to trigger discipline in the main menu)

If it is in semi-auto, why does the player character still pump the shotgun like it's in pump-action mode, you can even see the shotgun shell eject out of the ejection port when shooting the SPAS. (Strangely, the shotgun shell in the chamber didn't ejected.)
I'm confused how the tac reload on the G3 even works; you need freakishly large hands even larger than hickok45's (who stands 6'8" tall) to engage either of the mag releases without adjusting your grip
@@Immolator772 No actually; the lowers for the G3/MP5 platform are only slightly different dimension-wise in places that wouldn't impact your grip, like where the lower meets the stock. Where you would be gripping it is actually near identical between platforms so any issue the leading/gripping hand would have reaching the mag release on the G3, you'd have the same issue on the MP5.
Well it nearly doubled its base game weapon count 1 year after launch, so similar to payday 2, this is prob gonna be a game where 3 years into tis life cycle its gonna be a treat to play for a new player
Not too much has changed with the old weapons, but the new ones are decent. Latter's animations sure are good too. SPAS reload having that "click" in it is also neat, people tend to complain about that missing.
The AK reload is so weird... I mean, you'd expect the character to do the Iraqi reload when the mag is empty, but no, they just launch it even when not empty mag. The reload is just so rough, I feel like they might break it lol.

Because in game its a pump action shotgun. You sadly cannot use its semi or full auto modes
