You can become one of the greatest soprano of all times in 6 years if You ll be patient and do proper things. Actually after 12-18months of studys You’ll be able to sing some difficult arias but in slower tempo!

The 'why me' exercise helps to sing with less wobbly vibrato....Bad habits I am trying to change with more support and imitating what you are doing. It is working thank you for your attention to detail

Yes I am feeling the resonance and the open throat feeling. My teacher played piano and I did not get to hear myself enough. This helps so much to improve sound quality. Once one gets the right feeling then it is possible to repeat it.....exciting....

I was a soprano in a chorus for 10 years when I was younger but I haven't sang again for another 10 years. Recently I found out about a new chorus looking for sopranos and I haven't stopped thinking if I should try...
You should. Have always sang as an alto. Found out that I can reach A#5 and am going higher-I'm over 60.
I used completely different muscle. I was told to push and give a lot of strength on vocal. I never relaxed to sing. I could sing higher and brighter with you and make me feel happy.

I love ur videos, im a male u wnated to train my head voice and before i couldnt pass b4 without straining and breaking after c#5, and now i can sing consistently up to e5 and on good days up to g5
I love Opera so much I’ve been practicing for a couple years but I feel like I could blossom with a teacher. Perhaps when I get out of the military I’ll study to do opera passionately. 🖤

@@chromeface4687 I can tell you how I started to sing opera (although I am a classical crossover soprano, so I sing many genres of music). I was classically educated in instruments, so I came across a lot of classical music from an early age). When I started to sing, at the age of 58, I went for songs that captured my soul, and opera arias were part of it! Then, by chance, I found an awesome singing teacher in Wales, who is a famous opera singer, and it went from there. Good luck...............

I really want to learn singing Opera,I wasnt interested at first but after I saw many vids about opera (especially the penthouse drama) I started to get interested in it. But theres one thing that kinda blocked me from learning is that my voice keep getting cracked and I need to cough/swallow my saliva,sometimes when I did this exercise my voice cracked every single 40-50 seconds (only when I was singing) so I really need to fix that but I dont know how. Any tips?
Hi!! I’m a vocal music education major studying opera so I might be able to help. Biggest reason I can think of as to why this might be happening is due to lack of good breath support. It used to happen to me. My voice would crack in my lower register because I was not supporting. Make sure you really engage your core and stay grounded.

Ever since I've been a fan of opera back when i was a child. Unfortunately we don't have the money for my parents to enroll me for voice lessons. The queen of the night was my first opera song that I listened, and somehow I can sing phantom of the opera
