I'm a male high Soprano that love to sing in the 6th octave and this Coloratura exercise help me a lot...Thank you for your expertise on the Coloratura Soprano voice
@denny b No! Exactly what I said, I'm a Soprano! I sing higher than the countertenor voice. I've been referred to a male soprano all my life! Now because I'm a male people want to start calling us Male Sopranos, Sopranist!!!
So helpful!! I'm trying to sing better my coloraturas cuz actually I have troubles at the moment to breathe jajajaja I spend a lotta air when im going to sing all this faster notes and the internal position is soo important to!!! Amazing your TIP's !!
This video was such a helpful refresher, thank you! I remember my old teacher having a similar vocal warm up, but we used all the vowel sounds through the series of fours- e for the first set, a, second run, ah, oh on the first descending set, ooo on the last. It never even occurred to me to try all on the same vowel- but I think your tip might finally help me smooth it out more thank you!
Please make a reaction to a young, very popular singer in world. Videos from this singer collect hundreds of millions of views. Diana Ankudinova is now only 17 years old. She has a very unique, very deep, clear voice. Dr. Marc Reynolds (Voice Teacher, Stage Director, Performance Coach and Consultant, and Acting Coach) said about the performance of this girl: Really really exceptional! Even if you ignore her age, even is she was 10, 20, 30 years older, this is still a really exceptional performer here that we're seeing. But at her age, unbelievable. Really really exceptional! Absolutely gorgeous! And again, not just because of her voice, because her performing, watching how nuanced and engaging her performance is. Ah, it's just so stunning. It's absolutely amazing.
Love this exercise.. please mention the notes which you are using . I believe you are singing a G scale. I am not getting this notes while descending.. please. 🙏
Where in Germany are you located? I've considered moving overseas. I know it's probably complicated to get overseas and stay, but I do was to leave America. I'm a singer and organize themed opera concerts as well as collaborate with teachers organizing spring and fall recitals for their students . I don't sing on concerts I organize
How do you depress your tongue so much? Is it possible for everyone to do so or does it vary from person to person due to anatomical differences? Does trying to control the volume also affect the back of the tongue rising up instead of going down?
my next coloratura bit is a vocal bit in one of my songs for moulin rouge the musical and its 6 lots of triplet quavers with a slightly sustained last note, but does that first theory still stand? like I sorta accent the first note in the triplet more than the others? it goes: BAB C#BC# DC#D EDE F#EF# AGF# (that last F# is sustained), so should I accent the first in each group of three? that's sorta what I was doing naturally but I wanna make sure this is right haha
LOVE! I just found this 😍 I am so bad at singing short and fast notes. But I wanna improve in agility and become faster. The problem is everytime I wanna practice this, there is a point where I can't get any faster...even though it's not very fast at all...is there anything I could try to push through this "plateau"?
Thanks! I'm bass and difficulties with coloraturas...and done it wrong so far. Now to practise.
Wow! That’s so cool! How is it going with practice now?
@@BunnyPlays651, well, i've been "on a vacation" in coloraturas. Basic singing technique is fine, legato etc ...now to practise one more time :)

I sing soprano too, I can't even hit the lowest notes for a high tenor. Most of the songs that I sing are suitable for soprano.
