I'm also loving that Tzompantli album. I regret not picking up one of the limited vinyl. Time to start hunting! Perhaps with some tribal ritualistic chanting over death doom riffage.....
Belushi Speed Ball are hometown heroes where I’m from. If at some point they have a show date near where you are, for the love of god, PLEASE see them live. Some of the most batshit insane show antics you’ll come across.
My albums of the month were: Terminal Nation - Echoes of the Devil’s Den (death metal/hardcore) Aquilus - Bellum II (atmospheric black metal) Tzompantli - Beating the Drums of Ancestral Force (death doom) Primitive Warfare - Extinction Protocol (war metal) Contention - Artillery From Heaven (metallic hardcore) Gatecreeper - Dark Superstition (death metal) Saidan - Visual Kill: The Blossoming of Psychotic Depravity (black metal/punk) Beaten to Death - Sunrise Over Rigor Mortis (grindcore) Hemotoxin - When Time Becomes Loss (death thrash) Saidan and Contention were my two favorites. Saidan is probably my AOTY so far.
So um yeah can someone tell me why nothing came out when will this white stones album get here and when will be able to watch the acoyalyate I just really want to relax and wind down to some white stones opeth nerds behold White stones
I don't know any of these artist I barely even know bat and honestly bat sounds familiar because I think they one of the bands that performed with necrot cattle decapitation sounds better live
I'm commenting in another May wrap-up video to shill Saidan - Visual Kill: The Blossoming of Psychic Depravity. Some of my favorite new melodic black metal that needs some more love.
Last month had so many great metal releases. I loved the new Vale of Pnath, Cognitive, and Nocturnus A.D. albums. I still want to check out the new Pathology and Necrophagia albums.
I personally enjoyed the Pathology record, but I’m kind of easy to please with brutal death. Also love that vale of pnath record. Saidans new release has been on repeat recently too. Cognitive, Swampbeast, Mourning veil, terminal nation and Gatecreeper were all great releases too.
I'm so glad to hear you talk about the Tzompantli record, cause I absolutely love it. Their debut was already a great start, it was stupidly heavy, but, man, they expanded so well upon the Indigenous folk elements without sacrificing any of the brutality of the debut. Seriously, shoutout to whoever produces their albums, because they have some of the thickest mixes I've ever heard. I definitely want to check out Vale of Pnath and Cognitive, especially since Trenches gave them praise, too. I will give a shoutout to Primitive Warfare's new record, too. Just a ridiculously over-the-top war metal album
There’s a great heavy metal album waiting for you out there! It’s called MEAN STREETS by RIOT V🤘🤘🤘 Theatricality aside, I really dug The Troops of Doom, BAT, Jasta and Vale of Pnath! And lastly, I highly recommend you check out Borders of Mania by Red Rot. Excellent death metal heavy on experimentation🤘
I reviewed the Belushi Speedball album on my channel, Trolling in Paradise, which by the way, you gotta check it out. On that channel, I do album reviews, thread responses and the monthly album release schedule (which I've been doing since February).
It matters because Nick thinks attacking my masculinity is an effective strategy. What he fails to realize though, is that people attacking others masculinity are often insecure in their own.
Your opening songs are better than Blayne's. I don't want to be that duche but since I rarely care about death metal (with the exception of Nocturnus on the occasion, which you didn't called a different name but okay mistakes happed), grind or any of that unnecessarily intense pit-only types, I'll say you skipped over two classic bands, P.O.D. and Powerman's new albums. Powerman may have slipped under the radar but cmon man, besides Kerry King, knocked loose and BMTH (surpise released), this was a mainstream highlight of the month. Generic or not, it deserved a mention
The new the last of Lucy album was very good
I'm also loving that Tzompantli album. I regret not picking up one of the limited vinyl. Time to start hunting! Perhaps with some tribal ritualistic chanting over death doom riffage.....
Thrashin’ Jackson: I think I can do Smoke On The Water *doesn’t even bother tuning the guitar*
Me: lmfao
he's not very bright
I really like the format here: a couple of handfuls of short, concise reviews in around 20 minutes time. Keep up the good work! 👍

I'm game, I may do that

That new Saidan album is absolutely outstanding! Top 10 2024 for sure.
Thrashin jackson is getting banished to the shadow realm for ruining the summer
Shadow realm too good for him: he's going to Arbys.
@Playerthegamer21 You are a truly psychotic person... but agreed.
@Playerthegamer21sounds like a personal hell. Mine is eternally washing dishes to MADONNA.

“Belushi Speed Ball” is a wild af name
I really thought you would include the new Pain album
I'm so glad you gave Vale of Pnath & Cognitive. I've not heard of either band till this month and both are close to being my faves this year 🤘
In Gravity by Shrapnel was a nice surprise for me!
Did you listen to the new Evildead album?
Shout out to the new remix of Black Sabbath's Forbidden that came out on May 31st for how much it improves the album
I would like to recommend new Celestial Season's album "Mysterium III". Classical Gothic Doom with Stoner vibes.
Nice to see Cognitive on the list! New album was awesome!
Totally agree about Tzompantli. Their new record is a beast, very unique and well crafted.

You missed Toxic Grace by Evildead.

We'll have one at the end of the month with a special guest. Stay tuned...
I hope we continue to get evolving instalments of thrashin Jackson because I’m already invested 😂
Tzompantli and Ten Ton Slug are awesome! I liked Nocturnus AD aswell but the vocals are a liitle off putting this time, almost like its a narration!
Hopefully you'll have a great day today Mr.
Knew this "guy" in high school, he took ballet and musical theater
Yes, and? Mr.A.Peenus? I knew all these guys in high school who hated the arts. They all grew up to be boring as shit.

Put the guitar down dude 😂

No one cares about these albums. Let us know when theres a new Brian Posehn album coning out
I promise you you're the only one here who wants another Brian Posehn album.
I checked out Hellbutcher because I thought the name was cool AF .. but then I seen them in their spikes and leather and said umm No 😂

Tbh ive no interest in listening to new music from those bands, not my cup of tea at all.
