Dude I'd love to hear you react to early Candiria vocals. The song Pages perhaps? I've still never heard that tone on another singer probably ever. Peace☠️
Wow I stumbled on Kardishev on accident the other day (yt algorithm) & was an instant fan! So cool to see a review off this album, and to see the internet opinion on it as they disabled comments on their own vids lol
I dunno if you go back to old comments, but thanks to this video, I bought two of their albums and loved them. And thanks to my recommendation, so did a fellow on a forum I go to. So cheers, Mark, for introducing me to these guys. Or at least these guys with this singer.

Shout out to Samuel Nelson who made the artwork @8:42 ! Love his work :)
Damn I was gonna nominate this song for the month!! Such a badass band. I love how their bass is mixed, too. Super present and has that nice rattle to it.
If we're talking vocals from a performative stand point, "Slice the Cake" - "Ash to Dust part II", "Stone and Silver part I" or "Westward Bound Part I" are a must in my opinion, absolutely stunning! I'd love to see your reaction/analysis on that song. great analysis as always!
Odyssey to the west is a fucking masterpiece. STC doesnt get nearly enough love. I jam them every single day. always hearing new things, reigniting new passion for their creation. Fucking love that band.
Really cool series. Awesome to hear what you love and have learned from them. I recently learned how to false cord while growling and playing with my doggo! Been experimenting playing around with stuff you’ve spoken about on the channel! Thanks for your advice and wonderful personality!
Definitely saw the title and thought it was the entire album and was very very excited xD But it's still a fantastic track, I adore it and I'm so glad that you made this video, I love Vale of Pnath and I loved seeing the techniques broken down. Fantastic as usual!
@@KardavoxAcademy Please have a look at Wrvth - abstraction. And Wrvth - Headstones. Another top fav critically underrated band and a good example of vocals serving the song. th-cam.com/video/XXcKY2OY7dk/w-d-xo.html
Really excited for this series. About half the reason I follow your channel is exposure to some cool modern metal - my comfort zone is very much stuff that sounds like it was made before 1993 and I don't know a lot about more recent styles, so stuff you think is just *good* is waaaaay more interesting to me than another Electric Callboy reaction!
We have a similar taste in music it seems (Vale of Pnath, Cattle Decap). Please do more of these. Not only do I get great music recommendations, but you highlight the strengths of these bands which opens our eyes to traits each vocalist/band has that may be a little too nuanced for folks who aren’t as well-versed in the field. Also watching this and your Death Atlas reaction was super entertaining because you can see how much you enjoy these songs!
You're "support" mentality really shows in Kardashev especially in the Barring of Shadows EP i came to the conclusion myself listening to that album a few week back
This was great, loved your passion when you were talking about something you're clearly into. I wasn't familiar with this band but definitely am checking them out now.
I love them since they had ghe current vocalist of Inferi, I had the op to see them live in Mexico just a week ago and OMG the current vocalist have such a perfect high vocals Pd: MARK you blow my mind whit those closed teeth highs at the 31:21 🔥🔥
I’ve been hoping you would do something off this album, but I didn’t think it would happen. This makes me very happy 😁 This series should be good as there are heaps of amazing songs that don’t have heaps of different techniques in terms of the vocals. I love the vocals on this album. Also now after watching, I love how legitimately into this song you are. The enthusiasm is infectious.
I’d love to hear a reaction to “Mindless Omnipotent Master” by Fallujah. This song kinda reminds me of Fallujah. Also, I really like this format where you just go off on a song that you already really like. I can feel the excitement, and you were able to go much more in depth on the vocals
I like to say these guys are the perfect blend of modern black metal, fused with tech death.. so idk blackened tech death? Deathened black tech? Idfk.. Obsidian realm & the title track off this album are some of the best metal tracks I've heard, probably ever.
Mark you should check out 156/silences song " the wrong sense! " The singer has insane breath control. Dude screams forever! Loved the the video as usual!
@@MattAbbs the wrong sense would be awesome on here. That song is nuts. I have no idea when that dude breathes because he just screams for almost the whole song!
I'm gunna keep asking for an Aviana song until I'm told no lol. They just put out a new album. I think Illuminate, Paradox (featuring Markus Vic of invent animate), or even rage would be super cool to see you analyze and get ur take about!
Would love to get a reaction from some OG "Christan" metal band vocals. The one is particular would be, Society's Finest - Knife Fight. To this day, I have never heard anyone come close (excluding Dan Weyandt), to such a raw, throat wrenching style.
I've been wanting to see you do a reaction on any song on this album! You should bring Reece Dieter for a reaction. I've seen Sorceron do it live, and although he's damn good, it isn't Reece.
might i add to your list of considerations, the band Sylvaine. the vocalist has one takes that are good quality on youtube, as well as professionally recorded full band live videos. she does really effortless black metal vocals. really pretty songs. might be worth checking out at the very least, if not just go listen to. cheers fella.

Mark, plz check new Termina video called "Take flight", it is really worth of your time, and I hope to see your reaction & analysis) Guys, up plz, if you agree)

Criminally underrated band
Nah dawg they ain't underrated at all! Blow Dem Boyz up!
Yup. These guys are so good.
This
Especially with the latest release, Holy fuck..
Vale of Pnath is so sick. Love this song so much
Their live set over at Leo Sypniewski's channel is real cool
Hell yeah! Reece is so amazing. Privileged to work with him. 🔨

My favorite song on Accursed. Thanks man
Im so late on this comment. But same. I still listen to it nearly every day
I absolutely love this new series! keep em coming!
DYING for new Vale of Pnath. As soon as I saw this video pop up... instant click.
Hey I dont know if you know but they released a new single as a preview for an upcoming album
Ending of this song with all the transitions in vocals, guitars, and drums is also my favorite part that I have listened hundreds of times :D
Hell yeah, it's a phenomenal part!
I already know you’re gonna do one of these for Sun of Nihility and I can’t wait
Damn I was gonna nominate this song for the month!!

I love this album. Have been coming back to it for years, really grows on you

PS. It’s not just a snare, it’s a metal impact just Incase you were wondering. 😁

Loving this new type of vid! Vale of Pnath is one of my favorite bands! All they did is incredible! Theyre known to get Pnathty!
Much more pleasant to watch a video knowing that you really enjoy the song! Completely different feeling to a "hyped" song review.
