I....NEED to learn to sketch fast so badly. It's such a valuable skill and makes you much more moldable as an artist and flexible in drawing faster in general and not worrying about the overall thing CAN I JUST SAY I LOVE THAT SKETCHY STYLE????
Why is it that adding a cartoon megaphone makes bad echoey audio like 100x LESS annoying?! Everyone should do this! This is really effective teaching and you came on really well in a super short time. Well done! I love the collie dog vtuber model btw.
Remember that's a discovery tactic though. This makes it easy to focus too much on the lines and forget the shape, so remember to push outside your comfort zone
okay but ... I have been getting back into making art again after shaming myself out of it for 10 years. And I have been looking specifically at other people's lineart and being like... I know there is something I am doing differently that doesnt look the way I want. and I SEE what they are doing but I do not know what they are doing differently. And the thicker/darker lineart to show different lighting is one of the MAJOR pieces I was missing, I think. I love this format of crash course learning art stuff! Its super helpful for viewers as well. I love this
Oh I think that clump-drawing practice directly on the reference image was really good! I'm also learning a lot from this, lovely video and amazing teacher :D
also whats happening here? only 288 veiws and 1 comment that is not me. you should deserve a lot more , you are an adorable bean keep the up the good job!
sometimes it helps to draw where the lights are hitting in order to help figure out where shadows go. Lineart isnt always super important either! If you like your sketch enough you can just clean it up via erasing unwanted lines or messy sections. ALSO if you can picture shapes especially 3d shapes you can use those to help with shading as well :) Tracing can also help with line art!
ive always wanted to draw my fursona, but i never quite figured out how to draw furry art so i have been stuck with making him in picrew/everskies/gacha etc or just drawing him with his TV mask on, until i found this. thank u!
Honestly this has been very useful, I’m not a furry but I love the art and I’m learning to draw furries 🥲 subscribed cause I have a feeling I’ll be watching more
Love this. I've been wanting someone to help me learn to draw better. I can draw ok traditionally. But it's been a while. I got a graphics monitor and have yet to really do any drawings. Seeing this video brings me all sorts of joy.
Their tips are like... SUPER helpful. To the point I feel like I could share this with my friends and family for those who wish to draw. But then two things... this is all furry stuff which might make them uncomfortable... and second... the comments in the video. XD Not sure I'd share this confidently with my mom... yah know? XD Maybe I can adapt what he's saying to help me explain art to my friends and family better? IDK... My luff loves to keep saying "I'm so bad at drawing that I drew a stick figure once and it fell over." Wait... wuh? But there are times he's like: "I wish I could draw..." And I'm over here screaming, "BUT YOU CAN IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT!!!" XD Everyone starts somewhere. You don't have to be a 5 year old prodigy! You can suddenly take up drawing at the age of 50+... it doesn't matter as long as you start and continue to enjoy what you do! Don't give up! I keep saying I'm bad at painting... but I have a few paintings. XD I plan on buying some canvases and trying a few things out. That's all that matters!
I would KILL for a silly artstyle like that its so cool and awesome I wish to be as good as that someday WILL NOT ELABORATE ON WHO’S ART IM REFERRING TO
@@SkuruWolf When you can critique your work it means you're improving. So don't give up and keep going! Even AMAZING artists sometimes hate their work and will suddenly improve.
Currently at 2:41 in the video, To be honest, I’m leaning towards saying your drawing of the wolf is more accurate than the artist’s, solely based on observation. I think the drawing style the artist has built up over time reflects more on their drawing than yours (I assume because you have little to no drawing experience, or experience with developing an art style). The way in which the artist draws is more technically skilled, but because they draw in a very stylistic way, they have embellished and otherwise changed some parts of the image in their drawing so far as I can tell. Very interesting contrast between beginning artist without defined style and experienced artist with a set way of making.
i was sketching along and listening pretty loosely to the audio, then you said "art is art- just like my weiner!" ( 5:50 ) and i said "WHAT?" aloud caus it caught me so offguard.
We have a passion for the craft because it's a very good way to bring our characters to life. You tend to have more determination to learn something when it's something you genuinely enjoy doing as opposed to something you just want to learn.
