I had just came back from a psychiatric check-up at the footscray hospital psychiatric inpatient unit and was in quite a bad mood at the time afterwards. but when you came and offered the gift art I was super excited! and also, no I didn't care you were a new artist actually! I genuinely loved the first piece because of how adorable it is and was more than content with just that. but receiving the second piece was just mindblowing for me and it made me quite flustered that I was gonna be put into a youtube video! it was really an awesome experience and I can't thank you more for it kass

Not to put down beginner artists in any way, but i just couldnt help but laugh at the stark difference. They were so supportive of it even after. Thats the way all buyers should be when knowingly buying from a new artist. Support helps artists grow! Glad to see them being so nice.
I love how they’re grateful even for a simple drawing with lower skill. I love when people draw my ocs and it doesn’t even matter the skill level because it just means so much. It’s so special when your character gets their own fanart

Here they seem to get the zoomies with every drawing Also it's universal the appreciation for beginners and their cutesy art
The last piece took 15 minutes.. I would do anything to draw like that, and especially that fast.. Easily chargeable for like 15-30 bucks and in 15 minutes??? 60-120 bucks an hour is crazy good.
The thing is, to me the quality doesn’t really matter. If someone puts in time and effort on something for me that’s all I can ask for! Especially if someone draw an oc or a character you like for you. I treasure those the most lol😅

Yup… This is what I love about the art community. In a lot of places, you’ll find people who will uplift artists at any level. As a community we kind of make it our goal to recruit younger and beginner artists and encourage them to keep creating. The happier you feel about your work, the more you’ll go back to it, and the more you improve! This was a super sweet prank video, I think you should consider doing another like it :]

going back and mimicking my early art styles is actually pretty fun, its improved so much that its honestly a little difficult to stay true to the horribly incorrect proportions haha.

I'm not a furry (at least i don't think i am..?) But something i noticed is that the furry art community is literally the most welcoming and cozy one I've seen, everyone has niceness bleeding out of them and it's so great!!!❤ When i was younger i remember that i didn't like showing my mlp drawings to anyone besides my mom because i was ashamed of it, but one day i decided to send it to a friend i met at amino and they literally couldn't stop saying how amazing it was and how talented i was, it was the nicest thing anyone could've said to me and i felt so encouraged to draw more 😭
This seems like so much fun but I LOVE beginners art because it is often Sooooo cute and honestly some are so creative and silly because a beginner artist is happy to be more carefree with their art in a way I admire. Of course more advanced art is gorgeous and you can sense the 3D better. But I love seeing where someone starts

I remember years ago on Instagram (when I was in my furry phase) you were one of my biggest drawing influences!
