Brendan Fraser may be the comeback I've been waiting for, but Ke Huy Quan is the comeback I didn't know I wanted. Here's hoping they both (and Michelle Yeoh) win on Oscar night.
I love how grateful he is to be back in front of the camera instead of behind and you can tell with each one of his speeches that acting means so much to him and the accolades are the reassurance that he has a place in this industry and that he has value as an actor
To see a kid on the big screen from many of my childhood iconic 80s movies, that shared a similar diaspora as me, was very affirming. To see him get the accolades & recognition he deserves is immensely gratifying. KHQ has arrived.
He's so freaking good as Waymond. Michelle Yeoh is great as usual, but Ke Huy Quan is pretty much the perfect person for her to play off of. Waymond is the kind of character you want to have good things happen to him - he's so loveable - and Ke Huy Quan is pitch perfect.
Ke well-deserves every success ! He is so sincere, humble , clever and most importantly his persistence and enthusiasm in what he is doing! Thank you for your inspiration ❤!

Awe man we NEVER needed help remembering who you are! I never forgot! I asked for over 20 years now what happened to the kid from Indiana Jones and The Goonies - and I always hoped to see him in another Indy film or SOMETHING - and suddenly I found out he was in this new movie that PREVIOUSLY I had honestly no interest in - I watched Everything Everywhere All At Once SPECIFICALLY because Ke Huy Quan was in it - and that's no lie. SO happy for him.
This is a comeback to remember and other one I would like to see would be comeback of Johnny Depp, but who has the guts to give him his next big break. Good luck to Ke Huy Quan for new beginnings!
