@@laurenalexander4438 I'm inclined to agree! I went into it blind aside from knowing its ties to Appaloosa and Ed Annunziata. I liken it to a whacky, sprite scaling, team based take on Rampage, I dig it.
@@jessicasretrolunacyMost of the game is a side scrolling beat em up, but they change things up here and there. That game that just came out on Steam, Anton Blast, reminds me of Virtual Boy Wario Land mixed with this game. 😁
So happy to have stumbled on this video. I loved everything about this disc, the whole Sega Saturn aesthetic, and the creativity you saw with people testing things in the 90s. Thank you!
@@PieManZXY You're quite welcome! The Saturn certainly does have its own visual language, I appreciate how much it, the PlayStation, and N64 stand apart from one another. I really love these demo discs too, it's neat to see games in their earlier forms.
They are definitely a trip for sure, there a ton on PlayStation and Dreamcast as I'm sure you know, it's a lot of fun diving in and seeing the games in earlier stages of development.
Three Dirty Dwarves is so underrated. One of my favorite Saturn games.
