Hi Mukluk. Thanks for the relic recommendation. For those of us without SotO, what’s a relic that comes from the free chests would you recommend as an alternative? I already went to the Heroics Notary and sadly couldn’t find the Relic of the Fractal.
as someone who has a progressive illness that affects my hands and will probably lead to me having great difficulties playing GW2 in the future; seriously thank you for this, it looks amazing. LI builds are a lifesaver.
That's what I appreciate in these builds, you shouldn't have to be a pianist to do acceptable damage and be useful in fractals/strikes/raids. Take care
Love that you're giving more love to these low intensity builds. Even if you don't have any functional issues, they can be great stuff to show and suggest to people who have just started or are feeling overwhelmed by builds & rotations after they've boosted to lvl 80. Hopefully Metabattle will return these as well.
incredible how many people here seem to struggle with similair conditions. Sending love to all the shaky hands people out there and thanks Muk for these builds. I have no idea how long I'm still going to be able to use both hands and it's really reassuring to see that there are ways to keep at least gw2 accessible.
Raid theorycrafter: Here is the highest DPS that is mathematically possible. Mukluk: Here is the highest DPS that is the easiest to play. Fashion theorycrafter: Here is the highest brightness that is possible if you are rich. GuildMM: Here is the highest Gold per second that is possible. Edit: You could add turrets, cannon in a box and the deployable mortar turret to establish extra dominance.
Thank you for posting this. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis and hurt after 30/45 mins of game play. It's been hard to adjust to after having played both GW 1 & 2 since 2006. I appreciate your time and effort.
Thank you so much for making these - having shaky hands with nerve damage means a lot of the classes I hear of as being 'complex' I just don't have fun with. It helps a lot and I really, really appreciate it.
In addition to the accessibility upside I really like the idea of LI builds for starting to learn a toon that I spent a level 80 boost on. Still need to farm the hero points for the elite spec, of course.
Thank you for sharing these. I love LI builds as they make the game more accessible AND if we're being honest, a large percentage of players would benefit from using them. Most strike PUGs have 2-3 players who would be happier and more useful rolling this kind of LI build, they just don't know it, yet.

I thought you were just meming the chaos line since you also took the staff trait without a staff (I guess it still gives a little extra condi dmg?) Still hilarious.
Mukluk would you plz recommend a build for free to play Warrior that doesn't include GreatSword for pvp? I hate great sword all classes using them doesnt feel special at all especially for f2p players.. Thx

Great to see you providing attention to low intensity builds! Stuff like this is what helps to grow the GW2 community much more than the "Git Gud" or "You're not playing the game right unless you're min-max-ing/playing the way we play" attitudes that have been getting thrown around.
I'm glad these exist. As I said on the stream. It is wonderful for all those with accessibility issues. So they can have the same fun as the rest of us.
*Maniacal laughter. “He has joined the Dark side!”… but seriously, glad you’re making LI builds, especially since your intent is for AbleGamers. I have a few friends who want a build for their toons too.
LI builds are also useful for learning harder fights (like the harder strikes and easy-medium raid encounters), since you don't need to focus on your rotation but on encounter itself.
This series is awesome. Thank you for listening to your friend with hand issues, there are a lot of us gamers out here who don't have the reflexes or hand accuracy, or simply may have pain days when we're really bored and want to play, but get sick of dying or low dps complaints from fellow players. I'm sitting here right now deciding if I can manage any progress in EoD today on my Harbinger or Untamed/Soulbeast.
I really love this new series of videos you're doing . My sister plays the game and has Multiple Sclerosis and has trouble with her hands many days and these builds can really help people like her. Thanks for doing these Mukluk.
Yay, now people with one finger can do more DPS than me! :D (Joke aside, I love that you're bringing accessible options into the spotlight, I'm just a really bad player who try as I might, cannot do any sensible damage on any build)
I am a 63yo stroke survivor who've been playing MMOs since 1999 (and MUDs before that). I have mild double vision, and some fine hand coordination issues, as well as situational awareness and basic graphics turned down requirements because busy bloomy flashing stuff makes it such that I can't concentrate on what's going on. Damned if I'm stopping gaming, now that I'm retired. So LI builds keep me able to retire in Tyria. Bless the people who do this.
I really like this series (the low-intensity builds) and really hope you continue it. I know someone with carpal tunnel that needs to be careful when playing this game so when seeing these builds come out, it's something I can share so they can play the game more, too. Thank you very much!
This is amazing! I have an illness that make my hands numb after a certain time playing without a long rest. That makes it difficult for me to attent to a 3h raid. Builds likes this help a lot! Keep it coming, please. :)
Thank you so much for coming up with this . I fractured my wrist about a year ago and then developed a case of carpel tunnel too. Since then it has gotten better but not 100%. So definitely can’t do a full rotation or even play for extended periods of time without risk of making things worst. So I all but gave up on high end group content . But with a build like this there is hope. Thank you again .
Nice! Besides making the game more accessible and manageable, the LI builds are so great for learning the class too. Once you've really gotten a handle on "the in's and out's and why's" of a LI build, if you can and want to, you can really start to crank things up from there.
thanks man, LI builds like this can also be useful while you're learning fights...sometimes I tend to focus on my rotation too much, forget to dodge stuff and end up on the floor humiliated :D gonna give this a go
Many of those LI builds are also actually preferable for when you play unfamiliar challenging content with a spec you don't really practices rotation to the point of muscle memory. I'm using beginner build (from Snowcrows) for my cDPS renegade and due to it's simplicity (just auto attack, 2 weapon skills, legend swap and legend skill each, so a bit harder than those LI builds) I am rarely falling behind in PuG strike groups (of course I don't join those with some stupid LI requirements). Since it's easy to play I can focus more on avoiding dmg (and thus getting downed less so I don't lose on my dps) and actual encounter mechanics. It's especially useful when I'm learning raids (shortbow is also a huge help since I can still deal dmg when away from boss due to mechanics).
I'm really liking the idea of these low-intensity builds. I have paralyzing anxiety with group events and builds like this would help me enjoy the game more because I know I'm not holding the group back. Now I just have to figure out how to get Ascended gear without face planting in group events to start with.
For those that will be weapon swapping with this build I suggest sigil of energy on both sets of weapons, you will be able to dodge so much more. Thanks for the guide, I like these lower intensity builds.
I love these build videos, they're so simple and straight to the point! Normally you have to sit through 20 minutes of fuss to get to the actual build but this one tells you everything you need to know in just a few minutes
I just made a staff/alac Mirage for fractals. Good to know the axe/whatever variant can dole out good damage with the same gear and not having to learn another rotation.
while not the main purpose of this video, i find these to be very good for getting an idea of what a class's main damage output skills are! thanks for that:-)
Might I also suggest as an alternative to the Runes of Nightmare (Because they can be somewhat difficult to obtain), that you can also use Runes of the Krait. With the Earth and Torment sigils on the weapons, Runes of the Krait would improve the Bleeding and Torment conditions. PRAISE MUKLUK!!
I've never played mesmer cause I don't know how to work with the clones, but I've been wanting to try it again. This feels like a nice way to start and get used to the mechanics.
Desperate Decoy (Dueling 2/x/x) looks like it got reworked into Mental Gymnastics, which grants vigor on dodge now - still very useful, just thought I'd point it out
There's other MMOs that have (against tos) botting programs that can play your rotation for you, so all you gotta do is move around and click targets. I know why botting is wrong. But I wish there were more games that provided more accessibility to people with limitations. One of the reasons I came to GW2, was because I knew the action bar was only 5 buttons. And a few on the side. My goal is to use as few buttons as possible. It's why I like (pve) FPS games, RTS games, and games like Diablo 2. You only need 2-3 buttons to enjoy the game.
Great build! I have been using the Staff/Staff Mirage LI build, but as you have to dodge and weapon swap for it to work it might be too hard for some. I just like how it gives out a lot useful boons and is pretty easy to play. I also seem to have issues with melee range in GW2.
I like the idea of low intensity builds as a newer player: I have time to look at the mechanics of the bosses. I was wondering why I only get about half the dps with a Greatsword compared to an axe?
its nice that you showed the dps with no extra boons or conditions, you should do that to the other builds too if you decide to make up to date videos.
I usually play Mirage pretty "agressively". Took some time to learn the rotation etc, but man that is definitely something I'm going to try for more chill roaming with her, and it will also be the occasion to switch that off-hand pistol too. Thanks a lot :]
so i have an idea for a low intensity option what bout a minion build for reaper? so that way they can use the rise shout for extra minions and extra tankyness with the right death magic traits. and necro has a lot of self healing for survivability not sure if it will deal as much damage as the mirage but it could be a decent option with the right gear :) meta battle also has one for scourge as well
These LI builds are amazing. Have you considered doing some guides for LI core classes? I think that would be really helpful for disabled people, because the way to unlocking the elite specs can be a pretty big hurdle and a lot of people are likely going to try the free game before they spend money on a game they might not even be able to play. The reason why I'm asking: My best friend and I used to play pre HOT, before we knew each other. Last autmn he suggested we try and play together, because I kept mentioning how much I loved it back in the day. So we both reactivated our old accounts. However he has ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and it turned out playing gw2 was too exhausting for him. He tried following build guides to make it easier, but what little information there is on core builds is very max DPS focused. So pretty much the opposite of what he needs. Therefore he stopped playing again. I stuck with it and got the first 3 expansions. Lately I've been trying to figure out if there was any combination of builds, that would be minimum intensity for him and set me up with the best tools to help him out/ pull him through rougher situations. I've never done build crafting before and don't know how to appraoch this conundrum. Especially since I don't have a tone of experience in the game in general. I enjoy exploring every nook and cranny in the open world and if you have a healthy energy level you can do that with a half assed build and cobbled together gear without putting much thought into what buttons you're clicking. So yeah, I never had to think about builds, but now I want to and I don't even know what to google to get the information I'm looking for. I would really love to be able to share this hobby with my best friend again. And a little side note for anyone who has suggestions for me: I don't enjoy heavy armor classes or meele combat. Although the latter is fine if it happens occasionally. (My best friend has a fondness for asura, but isn't all that picky beyond that.)
So an easy to use build that makes a little bit under 10k when you are alone. Now I know that my 8-9k power reaper isnt weak in normal solo PvE. I think its very good to show the damage a build can make if you are on your own because thats how many player play it imo and if they are new to arkdps like me. I only check the dps fron others on meta bosses and than I see much higher dps than i could ever do. Hey is there a way to show your own dps even when you are in a big group and you are not in the top? Is there a way to show my dps without opening a new window ?
LI builds are also very good for people (like me) who have trouble keeping precise track of cooldowns or remembering a normal rotation And the mechanics of whatever you're doing. Just wanted to mention that, since most of the time people point out that it's good for people with physical disabilities, but LI builds are also very useful for neurodivergent folks & people with mental disorders as well.
If you add more skills to the rotation (and maybe switch a couple of signets) can you reach more dos? Or for higher dps we gotta change the trait lines?
I didnt want to make a mesmer, but now I might have to. I cant hit 35k dps on any of my characters and on mirage I can just dodge when it comes up and hit that.
Really nice build want to try I already have viper but sup runes of nightmares are for now out of my reach. What other runes do you recommend to use instead, DPS wise 5xTrapper?
Tested after SotO Release with Relic of the Fractal and full boons/conditions:
Rotation with "get clones and auto attack": 24k dps (after long ramp up)
2nd Rotation that included "using a dodge when full endurance": 27k dps
Self boons/condis only: 12k dps
Conclusion: Still viable after SotO if you like it.
Edit Sept 3rd 2024: Tested after Janthir launch, still viable.

Why have Master of Manipulation (Chaos) slotted when the build doesn't have any manipulation skills slotted?
now i need a good a movie to go with this build
Low intensity builds are the best idea ever
My new favourite build. 💜
Can you use Trailblazers with this? How much would it affect the Dps? I like having the extra HP buffer.
did you try this out? would like to know that too, it is only for an alt alt rarely used so think the ekstra HP would be nice too...
Can you do a low intensity video for Ranger and Guardian?
LI builds are also very good for people (like me) who have trouble keeping precise track of cooldowns or remembering a normal rotation And the mechanics of whatever you're doing. Just wanted to mention that, since most of the time people point out that it's good for people with physical disabilities, but LI builds are also very useful for neurodivergent folks & people with mental disorders as well.
Hey, runes of the nightmare no longer exist. Do you have a recommendation?
VERY cool!!! Great stuff in this series
How good that class would be when you gain also like the daredevil a 3 evade slot.
do you also put a sigil of torment offhand on second weapon set ?
heyyy tks for all the work out there! are those rune mandatory? any ohter from bltc available coming close enough?
Is the sigil of torment a must? It's a tad expensive haha
Finally a build for me
So is the armor the key factor in all this?
If you add more skills to the rotation (and maybe switch a couple of signets) can you reach more dos? Or for higher dps we gotta change the trait lines?
Another great idean cheers Mukluk
Challenge unlocked: make an elementalist LI dps guide lmao
I didnt want to make a mesmer, but now I might have to. I cant hit 35k dps on any of my characters and on mirage I can just dodge when it comes up and hit that.
Really nice build want to try I already have viper but sup runes of nightmares are for now out of my reach. What other runes do you recommend to use instead, DPS wise 5xTrapper?
Do we have any face-keyboard builds?
What's the point of using "Master of Manipulation" in the Chaos branch if you don't equip any manipulation skills?
Good catch, thank you
@@MuklukTH-cam I was wondering if I missed some obscure mechanic hidden somewhere. ^^
