In my seventies and decided its about time I learned to dance - properly. Of all the videos I have seen so far, yours is by far the best. But there is one thing I am struggling with. It is a topic you touch on in this clip - How does the leader convey directions to the follower? Is there a tutorial dedicated to this topic? If not, can you please produce one.
The leader has connection through the left hand and the right hand on the followers shoulder blade. With pressure from both the leader and follower the lead can maneuver the follower the direction they want. I will definitely put this on our list for a video!

Unfortunately, there are no ballroom dance classes conducted anywhere near where we live, so any help from your videos will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
YES! So waltz in different areas have different styles. Competitions vs Social Dancing, Dance Studios vs Country Bars. We will be covering all of these topics. In the 1960s, my parents met at the Arther Murry Dance Studio in Chattanooga. I never saw them dance together. I was not offered to dance with my Daddy. If you are a Daddy, ask your daughter to dance with you. Accept Jesus as Lord. Blessings!
