    I really appreciate slow-motion and counting, so everything is clear, even for a beginner like me! 😉

    Great video and great demonstration.
    Brilliant, beautiful dancing by the lady, remarkable especially in the first key basic part (classic).

    I fail to grasp the difference between the Competitive & the Artistic version. I mean in the essence. The artistic version uses more figures, while I get the feeling that the competitive version is more focused on distance, but I don't see why the 3rd version could not be used in competitions. That being said, the Artistic version feels more like a Dance of Honor. Could you enlighten me on that one?

    • @ballroomvibez
      @ballroomvibez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Thank you for your comment. It’s just my personal point of view. Of course artistic version could be danced very well on the competitions. But basing on my competitive experience and as a teacher I would go more with the drive actions in basic to stand out on the floor more. So that’s why I called second version competitive.
      Recently we had to prepare our couples for Polish Championships where they had to dance one basic dance which was waltz. We did for them combination of 2nd and 3rd version and it looked really great 👍

    Great video! Just curious but what syllabus do you use? ISTD? WDSF? do you think you will do routines separated based on bronze to gold? I was also wondering how relevant is learning syllabus and syllabus only competitions are outside the US. Im from Cali and we have syllabus only competitions and events locally and nationally.
