The best tank game I know is Gunner, Heat, PC (how I found this video, looking up random stuff) and the newest one they've modeled is the M1IP. It's also a sim-lite game, not a real sim, so they don't model some of the more complicated features, but it's pretty fun.

Im super hardcore when it comes to sims so I'm definitely more of a steel beasts guy but I think GHPC is really good for those who want a good balance between SB and something like War Thunder. I just enlisted as a 19kilo, I was originally a 0671 in the marines corps(IT job) . Being in a tank is extremely fun. I got to ride the loaders spot for a dog and pony show to show of the m1a1 SA. That thing throws you around and has zero regard for anyone. But it’s super fun, I haven’t been on gunnery yet that’s what this video is. Best job I’ve ever had. Going 45 feels great in the summer being out of the hatch wind blowing.
@@mrvonbismarck8221 You transferred directly to Army from MC, or did you quit MC and later join Army? Also, how did you get an Abrams up to 45? Last I knew the stock M1 hasn't been able to hit that speed since Desert Storm days, and maybe not even since the '80s.

On the Army's website it lists the minimum requirements and describes what your basic duties and expected performance will be. It's not hard if you actually want it and are hungry for knowledge and are willing to apply what you learn and improve yourself in that job and ultimately become a better soldier, tanker, and eventually leader. I will say if you do that, all of the hard times are gonna be some of the best when you're with your crew and platoon in the shit getting rained on or breaking track in the summer sun. Most fun job ive ever had. I should do a Q&A lol.

The line over the range indicates multiple returns recieved from the LRF. Basically meaning two ranges were deduced when you lased. It doesnt mean its neccissarily wrong, but it could be. The box indicates whether or not the main gun or coax solenoid is armed or connected. If you watch and listen for the loader saying "UP!", at the same time you'll see that box appear.
What music you used here? For me sounds like a remix of "Tension Pulse Med Tempo 01" from Battlefeld 3, on 0:43 you can hear an identical arpeggio but slowed
@@christopherchartier3017 It's the other way around. Cause there's parallax between the daysight and the thermal sight. The daysight reticle comes from the LRF.
The footage here is all on the SEPv2 but the SEPv3 feels about the same to shoot. Turret traverse rate and inertia's the only real difference I felt gunning. The SEPv3 uses the same TIS too.

Also, was this typical training, or some multi-country military exercise? Asking as a civilian, who knows little of tanks. (Also, as a tall guy who would find being in a tank to be a bad idea.)
@@Maperator Yep! You can find it if you search "Abrams GAS Sight" on google and see the reticle too. The tank has just about every redundant emergency system/mechanism you can think of.

1:34 why range finder says 730 than says 680 there is a error?
There was a line above the 730m range which indicated multiple returns. I re-lased and got a good range with identical returns which gave me 680m.

how do you aim with such optics? there's no indicator for for range adjustments, its just a red dot sight.
Fire control system that accounts for all variables. Just lase for the range and keep the reticle center mass.
