    I could happily just watch a long clip of Teller enjoying various performances. He is so delightful to watch. It is like watching a young child see their first magic trick or coming downstairs on Christmas morning to the presents under the tree. It just makes me feel happy to watch him.

      Meredith Monroe that is so well said. Even if he's not fooled, when he's entertained, Teller is wide eyed like a kid in a candy store. There's a lot to be learned from that, given that he's such an accomplished sleight of hand artist.
      Love your comment.

    I wonder if when Penn said about Alyson seeing the trick in her own way in addition to P&T as that would be a triple he specifically meant that she helped them to decipher the trick with her non-conventional signature.

    • @xz9925
      @xz9925 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also she was looking at the back bottom of the balloon as if she noticed something strange, you can see the expression on her face change.

    • @jmeldo9477
      @jmeldo9477 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@xz9925 You can clearly see, Alyson draw a smiley on the token that is not here after, on the token that he puts on the table
      so i believe he imitated Alysson's signature before hand, that token can probably split in half with the one he prepared being the second half
      at 2:24, you can see clearly that he has another token in his hand
      then until he put the token alyson signed into the bottom of the balloon at 2:36, you can see his right hand is in an unnatural position, cause Alysson token is in it
      he then put the token on the balloon, probably in a secret compartment that goes all the way to the bottom of the balloon, so it can be cut when alysson cut the balloon in the end
      then you can clearly see at 3:11 that he is putting nothing into alysson hands, but tries to brainwashed her into thinking there is something, with his words

    That was great, one of the finest performances I've seen on that show. You have a wonderful storytelling rhythm and I'm sure that helps with the illusion. I have the worst coordination so magic is out of the question for me, but I can live vicariously through other magicians. I have one question, and maybe you are forbidden to answer, but as we all know magicians are not supposed to share their tricks, is there something in your contract to appear on the show that would persuade you to tell the producers or Penn and Teller if the trick did fool them but they guessed something? Like one person was asked "is this the method you used?" the answer was no, but do they have something in place in case that person lies?

    • @mugzy81
      @mugzy81 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is a panel of judges that know the true solution and they know the hidden messages that Penn uses when explaining the secret behind the trick. That way if he used the wrong description, but there may be some slight confusion, they will go to the judges for verification of the "fool." This has happened in many cases where there could be different solutions and the way Penn describes it is either close enough (no fool) or off enough that it results in them being fooled. That's the check and balance that prevents someone from outright lying about their trick. Also a code of ethics that is agreed upon to appear on the show. Hope this clears things up a bit.

    I have no clue 😆 I tried paying attention but I can only think of a few ways to do only half this trick. The other half....I have no idea, I'm probubly wrong about how the first half was done anyway 😆
    Even with Penns magic "code" talk I cant understand.

    Respectfully, I have to ask....
    What the f*ck just happened?
    How did they figure that out?! 🤣 The balloon was up in the f*cking air, he didn't even touch it (lol I sure as sh*t didn't see it) I mean, sure, he probably didn't place the weight in her hand BUT then when the balloon came down he didn't touch it either, she picked it up, she cut the balloon open and she grabbed it from the bowl. Is it a f*cking trick bowl? It's see-through tho!!?
    I'm out. 😂 Freaking beautiful trick! This is one of those where it's so simple yet so mystifying and I don't even want to know the secret. I just loved it.

    Air density manipulation inside the balloon. I could go into several theories on how that can be achieved, with the timing. But I will leave it at that.
