Also! Just FYI, I didn't include the Hell Bent look (or one-offs like Deep Breath or the Caretaker) because this video's intention is to look at the Twelfth Doctor's regular wardrobe specifically. Product links in the description! :)
Man I I needa say your genuinely one of the best and easy to watch people on this site. Your videos are straight up the highlights of the week dude. You have a Very fun personality
Despite the music sometimes clashed with your voiceover, this is a great condensed video of the 12th Doctor's main coats, with so much information neatly crammed in.
I did my own count of the costume variants and if we count the looks from Deep Breath and promo images in addition to some slight variations (meaning different trouser makers/styles, the replica ladder jumper, the removal of one or more small elements, the distressed coat from Twice Upon a Time), we have a total of 59 outfits! Possibly 60. That includes one-off promo image outfits. If we count them by just focusing on the basic elements of his on-screen official look (this means excluding The Caretaker coat and the Hell Bent outfits), we still get the astoundingly large number of around 35 total outfits!
For anyone interested in buying the CosDaddy black velvet frock coat, just beware--they don't put any kind of interfacing inside the lapels, and they flop all over. I keep mine mined up with a couple safety pins behind them, but it's not an ideal solution.
Don't worry Dom. Completely understand for Series 10. 😊 And yeah thank you, you stay safe too. But honestly, I loved that. Like this sort of compilation and cosplay guide in one video. Really works. 👍
Thank you for the detailed guide! I have a concern though: Is the velvet coat in the World Enough And Time/The Doctor Falls episodes really in blue? I think it's just the post-production that made the coat looks like that. The distressed coat we see in Twice Upon A Time is definitely in black IMO.
Nope, it is 100% a navy blue velvet coat, I’ve seen it in person and in different lighting and it’s a dark blue. :) The distressed coat is intended to be version of the same coat but indeed the distressing makes it look darker. :)

12 has an impeccable fashion sense! I’m still on the hunt for an abbyshot coat currently have the Cosdaddy one recommended by a certain TH-camr!
Good luck!! 😁😁

Aw thank you so much friend!! That means a lot, cheers :)

Honestly the 12th doctor's look in series 8 reminded me of the 3rd doctor
He kinda kept that influence about him! Though his hair in Series 10 was VERY Pertwee.
@@WhoChaser definitely planet of the spider's 🕷🕷🕷🕷
Yeah, Pertwee was his favourite doctor and mine.

Rewatched Inferno recently and noticed Jon Pertwee's coat.
Navy velvet with red lining, beautiful!
Good video Dom, think I'm definitely going to get the black with blue lining coat, like that one better than the red lining
That’s totally fair! :D
@@WhoChaser think I'll get from Cosdaddy, heard decent things about the quality of the coat
Think I'd go for the velvet black frock coat.....not for cosplay I just want one to wear with a tshirt and jeans
It’s definitely the most versatile!
I love how eagle-eyed you are. The fact you spotted that Capaldi actually wore both a pinky and a burgundy t-shirt is amazing!
It’s a small change but a fairly notable one! 😁
This lad really deserves more subscribers.
I think that they just let capaldi wear whatever he showed up to set wearing lol.
I mean... that holes jumper was his... 😂
Im so confused 🤣. What is the last look with the old sonic?

Good thing to bring up, thank you for pointing that out!!
Great guide! I'm such a big fan of your content. I always look forward to new videos. 🙂

I’m glad you thought so!! 😁😁
@@WhoChaser Yeah very much so. XD Do you have a favourite combination for a certain coat or a favourite coat overall?
Amazing video Dom, loving the recent content!
Thank you so much, glad you’re enjoying them ^_^
Woe betide the person who chooses to destroy a velvet coat!
Which coat is used in most of Husbands of River Song? That’s the variant of 12 I’m trying to build
Having 10 variants on a coat makes me wonder how flustered the costume department was during Series 10.
The world enough and time jacket is blue?!?
Any ideas what the black thing is underneath the waistcoat in the Lie of the Land costume?

Which is more closer to 12s look in twice upon a time? The black velvet coat with the red lining or the navy blue velvet one with red lining?
That would be the navy velvet.
Where’s the caretaker coat?!?
What about Hell Bent frock coat look?
wow i didnt realise how many variants they were
There is a lot xD
Ok, fine, I'll cosplay the twelfth Doctor haha
Love this please do a tom baker one to
Maybe! :) Thanks!
Nice.
Was that Ace Attorney music I hear?
Indeed it was! Adore that franchise. 😁
