- Hi. My name is Vita. I am a single mum with two children. My husband was killed by Russians and since then I have to do everything on my own. In order not to go crazy from the constant air raids and missile attacks in Kyiv, I decided to buy a house in the village - my little private bomb shelter.
I have never lived in a village in my life. This summer was my first experience of living in the village and my first experience of self-repairing an old village house. A lot of sad and happy things happened during these months. Let's not talk about sad things....
In this video I collected the funniest moments of my life in the village.

That was a lot of work you did on the previous house and a lot of traveling. You just never know where you finally end up with.

Your video should be called city girl in the village. We had a TV show in Britain which was called the good life with a try and live off the land, even though they haven’t got a clue about anything in the country. who knows you could become your own TV series love you and your family and all your friends

This old man who offered you house for free, i feel he is good man, same type like guy from Slovak village in Serbia. I would like he marry beautiful woman to spend rest of his life happy.
In a way it reminds me of the old film Dr Zhivago, fixing up the old farmhouse in the midst of Russian chaos.

Taking water from well can be danger. When i was child, ex wife of my uncle was in village house of my grandmother and grandfather. She was talking water from well and that ручка broken here teeth
ya get a water tank that ya can fill
then a pump system that can run off generator say and then you can have inside plumbing tat uses water for showers food and such
as for toilets you'd dig a big hole put a giant tank in and have two holes one closed one that brings it in
and my dad used to have a truck that pumps that all out
ya forgot aobut a hotwater tank too
they dont need be overly large
