Vincent Price gave a great performance here, but I still feel he was miscast as the Robert Neville of the book. Price looked and sounded too cultured, debonair, clean and groomed to be a man who had survived for 3 years under seige from hellish ghouls night after night. Although he was playing the character in a defeated, weary fashion, I felt like other actors could have fitted the appearance and style more suitably. Love his work though, a real icon of horror and suspense cinema, and a very nice man to work with so I've heard.
He will always be the greatest as the ghoulish mad scientist character, but there was something about his role here that was very appealing to me. He's a guy just trying to keep it together when the madness of his situation starts to get to him.
@@OldMovieRob yes. It's been years and years since I watched it. I liked it. It is a little cheesy, but I like 70s dystopian flicks. Logans Run, The Omega Man, Rollerball. Great stuff.
Wow..
Truly. Astonishing.
Changed my life👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Best movie review yet!!!!!!!
Another great movie.

Classick Spine Wrenching Cult Chiller!
Mark of zorro next
Alright, I know, I've been meaning to get to that. One more Robert Montgomery picture then I'll try to do that one... :)
Great review. Just finished the book "I Am Legend" and watched the movie. I hated the Will Smith version. Bad CGI!
He could have put his infected dog in a cage. That always bugged me. Have you seen "Omega Man" with Charleton Heston?
