@@Juls-d4zThey only love themselves and the view they could get through Rory...they dont care about others. Psychopathic behaviour in any way. they even enjoy manipulating her, and that is also why they don't love their actual daughter anymore...she broke free, but rory is easy to control and through rory they are even able to control their daughter again. Through the whole show they primarily play sociopaths.
The one thing I didn't like about this show was that they made Dean look like the bad guy after they broke up. What with all the drama with Jess and him always breaking up with her in front of people. He was always such a good boyfriend and I hate that they made him seem like a jerk after Rory messed it up. I love Rory and I hate to say this but that whole deal with Jess was her fault.
@@rudy8176 They did. Dean always seemed loyal and kind until the writers made him cheat on his wife with Rory. It wasn't even worth it to cheat with Rory because she ends up breaking his heart by not caring about him.
She was loving the attention she got from all the guys to the point that she lost track of time and left Dean outside waiting. Then she finally appears and has a trail of guys behind her and being all giggly. What she should’ve done is told Emily and Richard that their whole setup was absurd and left, but she stayed because she liked it.
She didn't like it. She stayed because she didn't want to hurt her grandparent's feelings. And she may enjoy the company of Colin Finn and Logan but it doesn't mean she was going to cheat on Dean, they were just having a chat.
This is such a thematically powerful scene. The whole season Rory kept saying that it would be just like before when her and dean were together. But her loneliness at collage lead her to regress to the past with destructive consequences (destroy a marriage). She was supposed to move on. He was supposed to move on. When they were together you could feel the staleness. The uncourageous comfort. Rory really toyed with Dean and I understand why Dean felt out of place. They were on diverging paths. Sometimes the past is better left alone
Dean married Lindsey while still being in love with Rory. He was pining for Rory when he was drunk the night before the wedding the marriage was doomed from the very start
The awkwardness. All their dates post divorce were awkward and sad. It's like they were desperately trying to revive a dead body. They had nothing in common anymore. Sex I assume wasn't that good since they were never shown to passionately kiss and touch or be eager to be with each other intimately. There was also the awkward sex in car scene. No attraction there. I think he still had feelings for her and she wanted to lose her virginity to the only guy that made her feel safe. She didn't love Dean, she loved the idea of a safe caring boyfriend. She also didn't want him to be with other women, Dean was like an old toy that she didn't want to play with anymore but wouldn't allow other women to play with either. She did the same with Logan. Wouldn't marry him but the minute he's engaged to some other woman she's back in his bed. She's so undecided, immature and annoying.
I think from deans pov, he was planning on someday marrying her, and since he felt like rory will go into another direction, he breaks up with her, but with tears. Showing how much he loves her but sadly, life isnt fair
I have a theory! a.) if Lindsay would have never found the letter, Dean would have never married rory and continued to see her secretly 2.) the only reason he wanted this to work was because he lost everything and had nothing else to hold on to but just nostalgia, hoping that things would be like before but they never would be! 3.) hence he breaks up with her because he now knows they both are different. No matter how modest and down to earth Rory's upbringing was, she always wanted the life her grandparents were giving her. And so in season 5 when Dean and Luke are together, Dean says 'this town is never enough for them, they want more. You'll never be enough for Lorelai' suggesting that he was never enough for Rory too! Hence he broke up with her!
I just break up with my boyfriend so let's let the guy put his arm around me. Dean knew what was going on before her. She never really loved anyone of her guys. It was just deep infatuation. Every time she could REALLY have them..she moved on. I don't think is selfish, I think she is broken by her family brokenness and she needs THERAPY
I think it’s bold to say she didn’t love any of them. I think she did but each relationship had flaws. I’m not saying rorys actions are right but she did love them
Dean realized how he couldn't compete with the rich kids and that Rory lives in another world. This scene breaks my heart. After that I couldn't enjoy the show anymore. I am probably the only one who can't stand Logan.

I think the writers brought this dean and rory thing back up again only to make people hate dean and be more receptive to the coming boyfriends in rory's life.

@@nadimabbas4093 they're making a reference to Supernatural, Jared (who plays Dean in Gilmore Girls) is Sam Winchester, and his brother's name is Dean.
As an Italian fan, I'm really sorry for Dean. He has always been a very mature boy for his age, above all a hard worker ready to sacrifice himself for love. In the comments I read that he was not a good boyfriend because he was jealous: people, are we kidding? Any sane person would be jealous of Rory's behavior. I guess you are soooo happy that your partner is talking and dating people of the opposite sex without your knowledge, that he denies you the evidence by saying "She's just a friend", that he forgets about your dates, and so on, right? And like Rory did, you want to deny the evidence by accusing Dean of being paranoic, aggressive... Twice Rory made fun of Dean, twice. She plays at being the innocent saint, the one who never makes mistakes: the truth is that she likes transgressive guys and she doesn't want to admit it (it is clear that she is in love with Jess and Logan from the very first moment) just because she wants to keep playing innocent girl. Dean was just a pastime, a hole to fill, waiting to find the next "cool" guy (who play ro be the "bad boy"). This is the truth.
@@luca01090 oh grew up. He wasn't mature at all. He broke up with Rory cause she didn't say I love you back. He flys off the handle when Rory says something. @@lauriecarson6483 I’m reading what you write under all the comments and honesty I can’t understand if you are trolling or you have just an insane obsession to Dean. You continue to say a lot of wrong things everywhere, making force on stupid and insignificant events! Dean is not a perfect human, but still, for being 16 he is mature more than other boys. He protected Rory, he never put her in danger, he always took care of her and at times he was treated like a slave by Rory and Lorelai. He is jealous because Rory has always ambiguous behaviors, every person with a little bit of dignity would be! The fact is that Dean loved Rory, but Rory never loved him! She loved the idea to have a boyfriend, someone to spend her free time after school and study, but never loved him truly. If for you Dean is the monster, what about others? Let’s talk about Jess: he was jealous too, a lot of times he threaten to fight against Dean. And when he was “forcing” Rory to have a physical relationship at the party, who intervened but Dean? Or maybe let’s talk about Logan: the parties with alcohol, smoking, gambling in which Rory was present, did you forget them? Or the stealing of a yacht? Or sleeping with other women after a few days of “reflection pause”? Maybe you should watch better the show, because your anger towards a character who has always respected Rory and her choices has no sense, and I have never read a single word to characters who really put in danger Rory! The only thing you are right is that Dean betrayed her wife, that’s so unfair! But still, Rory played with his heart fooling him again. She likes to play with people lifes, she always wants to be the center of attention and be the victim with her angel face. She does it since she is a little girl but she also does it in the revival at 32! Now, these are the facts: if you want to understand and make a serious and objective analysis that's fine, if you want to create flame just for personal revenge go ahead, but I have no more time to waste.
He should have felt proud that he got the girl and left with her, while the others watched. Isnt that more rational than breaking up so suddenly in public without discussing anything?
People often critisize actions of others very rationally. But there is a catch there, we are not just rational creatures, we are also emotional. And when you are in a relationship you act emotionally, too. Now, think yourself as a person who works at multiple jobs to make the ends meet and still live with your parents while your girlfriend is turning into this intellectually driven, rich lady covered by similar people. And, of course you feel the difference from time to time, but you hold on to your love. Then, this fact is just shoved into your face as clearly as possible. I don't find his action here awful actually. And Rory is also aware of the fact. She knows why he lefts. That's why instead of crying or asking him to come back, she ends the night getting drunk with her equals. Sad, but true.
I think he could feel for a while that they were not working out in the "adult world" and knew it was over before it was over, it was the same thing with Jess actually only this time he reacted quicker bc of the experience (I believe had he not done that, in a few months Rory would have dated Logan anyway) I think Dean always knew it would happen hence all the insecurity

She drooled all over jess and dean stood up for himself because she was basically using him. He was never the one to cause a breakup, Rory always did something stupid to ruin it.
Because Rory is selfish and is into other guy , and at the same time keeps Dean believing that she is in love with him to just bring on his face the other guy like nothing. She has to deal with her relationship the correct way so she deserve this, I will pissed off to if I have a boyfriend making puppy eyes to other girl in front of me if he is pretending everything is OK with me, just told me you don't want me, I get it.
Dean was trying to make it work(the second chance) but like always Rory dont appreciated enough o just don't care (because Dean always love her) so is sweet by his part but not enough (I m team Jess but I can see the dean situation)
I never liked this scene. 1) once again Dean breaks up with her in front of everyone 2) he left his wife for Rory and he just walks away because he doesn't "belong here"?? I just feel like that's a weak, childish reason. I mean sure, she was never good enough for him, but his reason and timing of leaving was stupid.
I think he could have talked to her in private, but this is just Dean realizing what he always knew in some level - that he and Rory were never gonna end up together. They kind of belonged to different worlds. Rory went to a fancy school and dreamed of going to a fancy college, had rich grandparents, and Dean got married really young and almost quit college to work in construction. And both in small and big ways they always clashed because of it: they clashed about the amount of time Rory was dedicating to getting into Harvard, they clashed when he married Lindsay and stopped going to college, and they clashed when, as soon as their whole affair became too complicated, she ran off to Europe to "clear the air" while he stayed home, had his clothes thrown out the window and moved back into his parents house. And the thing is - Rory isn't Lorelai. She's always liked her grandparents world. She was comfortable in it. So seeing her tipsy, surrounded by boys her grandparents clearly found were more "eligible", wearing enormous diamonds and clearly looking like she was having such a great time that she had forgotten about him, was kind of a wake-up call. He doesn't belong there. She does.
Rory has treated dean bad so many times so maybe she might deserve it, and it was childish, I don’t think he meant to do it in front of everybody it just happened
At the end of the day, feelings are not enough. Truth is, each time they got together Dean was Way more invested than she was, she always ended up disengaging a little (or a lot) without admitting it to herself. She got bored but still liked him enough to keep it going. Not saying this to judge her character, it is was it is you can't force it if you don't feel it, but ideally in a situation like that one would be more self aware and honest so as to avoid this kind of scenes before they happen. Ultimately he was right to break up with her, that was the only course of action, but he could have done privately, I don't like how he needs to do it in front of people even if she's the one who messed up it's a bit excessive
This is so bad timing for Rory and Dean. Her grandparents will never approve their relationship because they believe Dean doesn't belong with their society. They will always set up Rory. But then Rory should have known that. I just hope she had stood up and handle Dean. Or left the party with Dean. Troubles and argument with partners will always be there. But letting Dean just go well maybe Rory enjoying whatever she is up to. She really have the attitude of doubtful feelings and messing up.

Logan and Rory cheat on his fiancé, that shows they create disaster together.
@Raynna Ameera Baharuddin Dean didn't treat Rory as a trophy or prize, Jess did. Dean was uncomfortable with Jess and how he was always pursuing his girlfriend. I hate this scene bc it literally feels like this division between working people and upper crust folks. If we didn’t buy into internalized class differences, I think Rory and Dean would have made it just a bit further. Maybe he wouldn’t have been her forever, but their second go round could have been a bit sweeter.
I think the rory dean logan constellation is one of the most interesting relationship Triangel i have ever seen in television because in a way it‘s really realisitic. That the thing between rory and Dean wouldnt work out is not because rory is a jerk or dean is a jerk but only because they come frome different worlds. Fuck worlds. Different planets. Rory is rich, dean is poor, rory is highly educated in fucking ivy leage and dean is building houses. In real life that dosn‘t work out , even though they both really liked each other. I think the last scene is not dean all of a sudden breaking up with rory or rory instantly hooking up with logan but they both be true with each other. I mean he is standind in front of her before a fucking truck while rory is looking like a princess right out a Disney movie . I think the reason why dean is so insecure about rory is because in This moment rory is really too good for him. What makes the whole situation just more interesting ist that lorelai has the same constellation with luke and christopher. I can assume that can be a reason why Luke hates dean that much, dean is reality.(sorry for my english, it’s not my native Language )
Another Point is that after rory and dean break up there is a lot of tension between dean and luke. When they both calm down dean admits to luke he dosnt have a promlem at all with him(luke) but he knows that his relationship with lorelai wont work out, becasue she is too good for him.just like rory was for himself. And a few episodes later lorelai is back together with christopher.
Rory never tries to keep any boyfriends she has because she always has the backups lined up, she's constantly looking for the perfect match to her every little hobby and quirk but she's never going to find that. I didn't remember her being so fickle when I watched this show at 14 year s old.
I have a theory! a.) if Lindsay would have never found the letter, Dean and Lindsay would have never split up and he would have continued to see Rory secretly in the false hope that he'll leave Lindsay. 2.) the only reason he wanted this to work with Rory was because he lost everything and had nothing else to hold on to but just nostalgia, hoping that things would be like before but they never would be! 3.) hence he breaks up with her because he now knows they both are different. You'll never be enough for Lorelai' suggesting that he was never enough for Rory too! Hence he broke up with her!
When Dean asks "What am I doing here?" she just responds "You're picking me up! :D". What kind of answer even is that?? She NEVER realized what her harem of boys must have looked like to Dean, the guy who was waiting for her while she forgot about him. The last two times, Dean was fully in the right to break up with her. i would rather be broken up with in public than to have an entire town watch me get strung along for months.
To be fair, they actually did not make a huge scene out of breaking up which was kinda classy. Still hurts and still sucks, but it is better than screaming at the top of your lungs like so many do
That wasn’t that big of a deal to break up with her RIGHT then and there. I think Dean felt insecure and humiliated because he knew deep down that he wasn’t good enough (at the time) for Rory. So in order to compensate for that he humiliated her by breaking up with her.
Dean is a WASP 21 year-old male living in the best most socially advanced region of the USA, High School diploma, one year of College, experience and skills in the construction business, and auto mechanics; good looks, intelligence, excellent health; has his Mom and sister as family. That´s quite a bit above the USA average, and very much above world average.
Dean isn't good because he is problematic in a lot of ways-like how he keeps breaking up with her in front of people and humiliates her. Logan also isn't good for her because he sorta makes her emotionally dependent on him like in this scene. He's not doing it intentionally but he is kinda manipulative. Jess is the best because Jess respects her for who she is and they are both better individuals together but still fundamentally individuals.
Have you notice when Rory is trying to explain something to Dean he stops her and yells at her. But Jess just remains calms and let Rory explains the situation to him. No yelling or throwing a tantrum.
What I like is that when she meets him at the 4 seasons years later, she looks totally sorry for what she lost and when she tells him that he was the best boyfriend in the world, you can see the look in her eyes that she tells him. I wish I had met him now. but he is completely unimpressed in the end, she is still stuck in the past and he is already more than over her. and she is a single and single mother with nothing, a broken toy and no direction in her future.
I feel like she didn't explain the situation well and that makes things shitty enough. Then on top of that all these rich boys seeing this person they would deem "normal" is embarrassing. It helps him decide he's not a part of Rory's world anymore which sucks but has to be done.
honestly what the hell was she doing with that prick Logan anyways, I mean he was doubt the worst boyfriend she ever had, and he ended up hurting her the most
@@calliefinck6275 Think a bit before posting this comment. So Dean is the best boyfriend, in season 1 he loves Rory with all his heart, he wanted to hang out with her, go out with her. I like Logan and him and Rory, but in this scene, I felt for Dean, so bad for Emily and Richard to do that. Also, this is the last moment Jared appears in the whole series which makes it so sad.
I don't get it. She always looks so hurt more than anything whenever her and Dean ends things. She must really love him, so why does she keep messing things up between them?
Why did all the guys come out to see who the boyfriend was? It was none of their business. And why wasn't Dean invited to the party. No wonder Lorelai kind of hinted to Rory that she should keep her distance with Emily and Richard, and not ask them for money. "Those are strings Pinocchio".
This is so typical of young “love”. Because when you love a person you fight for them, you plead the case for the relationship. They like each other a lot and have chemistry but it isn’t love. Plus they all spark way too quickly. Other than the grandparents, I think Sookie & Jackson and Lorelai & Luke are the only true love stories.
also tell you the actor left the series and they had to focus the series elsewhere, surely if the actor had continued the series it would have been Rory with family with Dean.
Reason I like Logan where he wasn’t a boyfriend stealer. When saw the breakup, he was great as a friend to her then just ok let’s get together now. Sorry Jess! He was a jerk
well, in their last episodes as a couple they were more and more awkward with the each other, things hasn’t felt the same way as they were in the past, so I was waiting for their breakup. But this rushness was unnecessary, maybe they could returned to stars hollow and talk about the shit that they were feeling, specially Dean since he was the one with more insecurities. I don’t find that repulsive or bad like some other people, he was just 19-20 years old teen surviving the everyday with what he could give, so when he starts to notice more and more that he and Rory weren’t the same as when they were younger and the socialeconomic level was more evident he felt that he wasn’t the person that Rory must be with, but still loves her. I’m sad about it bc they were my favorite, but Dean needed to find himself and worked in his confidence as a individual. I think in season 1 he was more secure about himself, but well, the teenage time and the things he was going through make him doubt of himself, which i think is very normal to expect and that doesn’t need to be “bad” I hate the hate against Dean I’m not sorry
Dean insecure? Rory lied him, cheated him and denied every evidence.... and the problem is that he is jealous and possessive? Every sane person would do the same as Dean. Stop describe Dean like a paranoid man.
And Jess wasn't insecure? The time Rory went to that carnival with Dean and his sister? And Logan? When he was desperate to get Rory out of that costume party once he saw her with another dude?
@@zidneya You are right, but it is fashionable to say that the jealous madman was only Dean. The truth is that any person would be jealous of Rory's ambiguous behavior. honestly dean was a great boyfriend don’t get me wrong but it was rory’s first relationship she was bound to make mistakes also dean stayed in that relationship when he knew rory had feelings for jesse that was on him he could have left but he chose to stay & with rory & jesse, jesse just hurt her a lot but what her and logan had that was her soulmate no one can tell me otherwise
once he saw her with Logan, just like him seeing her with Jess, he knew it was all over. This time for good. He knows now deep down he's not good enough for her and he never will be
I really wanted her with Jess & Logan so I never liked Dean that much watching when I was younger. Rewatching this being older made me feel so bad for Dean though 😭 he kept coming back to her and loved her so much but they were just too different. He could never match her intellectually/socially the way Jess & Logan did.
This plot device is annoying to me because Dean loves Rory for years and then he just says he doesn’t belong with her because of some random guys and is out of her life? 🙄🤨😅
Rory is half in and half out of that “social class”. Let’s face it, “social class” doesn’t suddenly impact your relationship when you see your gf at a party. Plus they turned Dean into a small town boy when he was originally from Chicago just to move this plot along. It was a completely contrived plot device imo.
Notice how she doesn’t even fight for him to stay…she knew this was never going to work too.
I always know that when the "La la la" song comes out something bad gonna go down.

Ye
or good! la la la came on when rory go into harvard and yale

🤣🤣🤣 u right, that song comes in when Jess bailed on Rory, when Lorelai leaves Max, when Dean breaks up the first time with Rory, here too
This is the moment when I really hated Emily and Richard they don’t really care about the happiness of Rory or Lorelai they just care about status.
Honestly Rory and Dean weren't "together" for a while anyway, but I see your point
I say that all the time but everyone loves them don't know why
Yes and no. Emily and Richard cared about status but they did care about Rory, they even loved her more than their actual daughter

The one thing I didn't like about this show was that they made Dean look like the bad guy after they broke up. What with all the drama with Jess and him always breaking up with her in front of people. He was always such a good boyfriend and I hate that they made him seem like a jerk after Rory messed it up. I love Rory and I hate to say this but that whole deal with Jess was her fault.

i don’t think they make him look like a bad guy to be honest.

Or even pretended to be more uncomfortable with the situation when she walked outside lol?
She didn't like it. She stayed because she didn't want to hurt her grandparent's feelings. And she may enjoy the company of Colin Finn and Logan but it doesn't mean she was going to cheat on Dean, they were just having a chat.
True True! Its quite nice to have so many guys around u when u re that young and new in college : ) Poor Dean, broke his heart twice!
Logan was great here you can definitely see his kind side, and her grandparents really messed her up knowingly.
she enjoyed the company of logan and colin and finn and she wasn’t just enjoying all the attention. it was boring so they had fun.
You speak like a psychiatrist
Dean married Lindsey while still being in love with Rory.
He was pining for Rory when he was drunk the night before the wedding
the marriage was doomed from the very start
She just wanted something familiar
I think from deans pov, he was planning on someday marrying her, and since he felt like rory will go into another direction, he breaks up with her, but with tears. Showing how much he loves her but sadly, life isnt fair
oh noooo, now I feel bad for him
I have a theory! a.) if Lindsay would have never found the letter, Dean would have never married rory and continued to see her secretly
2.) the only reason he wanted this to work was because he lost everything and had nothing else to hold on to but just nostalgia, hoping that things would be like before but they never would be!

He was always very insecure.
2) he left his wife for Rory and he just walks away because he doesn't "belong here"??
She does.

Dean likes to break up with Rory in public 😂
When Dean asks "What am I doing here?" she just responds "You're picking me up! :D". What kind of answer even is that??
She NEVER realized what her harem of boys must have looked like to Dean, the guy who was waiting for her while she forgot about him. The last two times, Dean was fully in the right to break up with her. i would rather be broken up with in public than to have an entire town watch me get strung along for months.
He finally realized she had changed
Jess lacked basic communication skills, pushed her away all the time and assaulted her. He's not better.
she cheats on him over and over again

I HATE THAT LOGAN AND RORY DIDNT ACTUALLY GET MARRIED
I feel like she didn't explain the situation well and that makes things shitty enough. Then on top of that all these rich boys seeing this person they would deem "normal" is embarrassing. It helps him decide he's not a part of Rory's world anymore which sucks but has to be done.
honestly what the hell was she doing with that prick Logan anyways, I mean he was doubt the worst boyfriend she ever had, and he ended up hurting her the most
emily and richard invited all the guys from yale, they weren’t even dating at this point
@@rudy8176 actually I'm wrong. Dean was the worst boyfriend, but Logan is a close second and did hurt her the most
@@calliefinck6275 Think a bit before posting this comment. So Dean is the best boyfriend, in season 1 he loves Rory with all his heart, he wanted to hang out with her, go out with her. But when Jess got off, Rory went to Jess. Then a few months later, Dean got married to Lindsay, but he still has feelings for Rory. A few weeks go by, and Dean and Rory are together again, Logan came and then it's over.
Conclusion: Rory is the worst.
All she did was break people’s heart.
( Dean, Logan )
@@real_user06 it's Jess. But we are all entitled to our opinions. Dean was mean to everyone after the breakup, he acted like he owned Rory and that they were gonna be together forever, not to mention embarrass her in front of everybody by dumping her, and kept bitching and moaning when they weren't together, like in that mean conversation he had with Luke in his last appearance in the original show
@@calliefinck6275 the thing is he had a right his relationship wasn’t secure to begin with & also a public breakup is valid there’s no right reason to break up with someone especially like in season 2 where rory was clearly hung up on jess & only stringing him along she deserved to be broken up like that considering the fact that she was stringing him along & playing him for a fool throughout the entirety of season 2 then in the next breakup on season 5 she walks out with a bunch of guys all giddy forgetting she even had a boyfriend he had already been through the ropes what was he going to do delay the breakup? no if he wanted it done & over then he should’ve all were boyfriends sucked but rory sucked more there was not one boy that she didn’t respect her & their relationship together
Can i just say that this is the episode where I fell in love with Logan and his friends 😍😍
what episode is this again? 😭
@@sunshinelove-c3q i don't remember sorry😓
@@sunshinelove-c3qSeason 5 Ep 8 i just watched it 😂
At least jess and Logan wanted her to have a career and cared what she did. Dean wanted a house wife
Yes yesssss I love this scene finally dean understands that he doesn’t belong in Rory’s world .
I like Logan and him and Rory, but in this scene, I felt for Dean, so bad for Emily and Richard to do that. Also, this is the last moment Jared appears in the whole series which makes it so sad.
logan comforting rory>>
This is why I love Logan
I don't get it. She always looks so hurt more than anything whenever her and Dean ends things. She must really love him, so why does she keep messing things up between them?
Why did all the guys come out to see who the boyfriend was? It was none of their business. And why wasn't Dean invited to the party. No wonder Lorelai kind of hinted to Rory that she should keep her distance with Emily and Richard, and not ask them for money. "Those are strings Pinocchio".
Because they’re young men
Because Emily and Richard tricked Rory into coming to a matchmaking party. They didn't like Dean so they tried to set her up with rich boys.
Because Emily and Richard tricked Rory into coming to a matchmaking party. They didn't like Dean so they tried to set her up with rich boys.
That's it? Just a couple of years and then back to the party? Rory never deserved Dean!
what to yu want Rory to chase after Dean. no sorry
"You look good." I died.
Did Dean really read her article? Cause I think he lied about it.
Dean always breaks her and lets her go which I’m glad he did this time she could be with Logan which was who she poved
SHE LEGIT KEEPS CHEATING ON HIM HE WRECKED HIS MARRAGE FOR HER
well, in their last episodes as a couple they were more and more awkward with the each other, things hasn’t felt the same way as they were in the past, so I was waiting for their breakup.
This always seemed so abrupt and nonsensical to me. I'm glad Rory and Dean finally broke up for good, but this was a weird, bad way to do it.
Dean threw away his marriage for this 🤦
He shouldn’t have gotten married in the first place anyway
His marriage was a ticking time bomb.
Dean has always been insecure. Throughout the series you can see him get jealous and possessive so easily. Ugh he’s so annoying.
Dean insecure? Rory lied him, cheated him and denied every evidence.... and the problem is that he is jealous and possessive? Every sane person would do the same as Dean. Stop describe Dean like a paranoid man.
@@luca01090 Right! Both Tristan and Jess were jerks to Dean, and he knew that Rory was getting into Jess.
I would like to see if their boyfriends go out with other girls, talk all the time with them and kiss them… I really want to see how much “insecure” they are!
Okay but that dress was 💯💯💯💯💯
What season and episode is this?
Season 5 episode 8
honestly dean was a great boyfriend don’t get me wrong but it was rory’s first relationship she was bound to make mistakes also dean stayed in that relationship when he knew rory had feelings for jesse that was on him he could have left but he chose to stay & with rory & jesse, jesse just hurt her a lot but what her and logan had that was her soulmate no one can tell me otherwise
Dean has a big insecure issue here.
So true

once he saw her with Logan, just like him seeing her with Jess, he knew it was all over. This time for good. He knows now deep down he's not good enough for her and he never will be
That had to sting
wrong. She was never good enough for him...
Ep?
TEAM LOGAN AND JESS !!!!!
EXACTLY
Wich season ?
5 episode 8
I really wanted her with Jess & Logan so I never liked Dean that much watching when I was younger. Rewatching this being older made me feel so bad for Dean though 😭 he kept coming back to her and loved her so much but they were just too different. He could never match her intellectually/socially the way Jess & Logan did.
Logan is the sweetest 💘💗❤️
If rory really liked him she woukd had said no you belong with me
But it's obvious she was wanting Logan
Him is logan right?
Sozzz i don't know lol
The blond one is :)
Thanks
This plot device is annoying to me because Dean loves Rory for years and then he just says he doesn’t belong with her because of some random guys and is out of her life? 🙄🤨😅
It’s not just random, they belong to different social classes and dean felt like he was never gonna be good for Rory.
Rory is half in and half out of that “social class”. Let’s face it, “social class” doesn’t suddenly impact your relationship when you see your gf at a party. Plus they turned Dean into a small town boy when he was originally from Chicago just to move this plot along. It was a completely contrived plot device imo.
