So whos jesus again? Is he the son or god? Or is it both?
there's really no rational explanation :-/
The concept of the Trinity explains that God is triune meaning God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit commune as one. Jesus is God the Son who became both fully God and fully man to walk on Earth in order to live a holy life of example and to die for our sins and resurrect for our redemption.
A full answer to that question requires more than 60 seconds 😂 but the short answer is "Yes"

Second person or God?
Each person in the Godhead (the Holy Trinity) has separate roles:
- God the Father: He is in charge. He is the loving creator, sustainer & judge. He is the One to whom we pray and seek guidance. He planned our salvation thru the death and resurrection of Jesus.
- God the Son: Savior of the world, the Word made flesh, Lord of lords and King of Kings. He volunteered to temporarily humble himself & abdicate his Godly powers to become a man. He is the example of a perfect sinless life. He also volunteered to sacrifice himself on the cross (be punished in our place) so that our sins would be forgiven. After his resurrection, his power and glory were fully restored.
- God the Holy Spirit: sent from the Father & Son. When we accept Christ, the Holy Spirit resides in us and enables us to see the truth about spiritual matters. He points us to Jesus & changes our character to be more in line with God’s will. He fills us with joy, love & peace.
