This was such a good word. This wasn't my service time but at the end of ours there were tears and huge presence in the room. Matt really hit it home with his Word. The way he wrapped everything together was phenomenal. Please have him back! 🙏🏽 Thanking God for sending this message this weekend. 🙌🏽

My goal with my ministry is to help people understand this. Suffering is normal, but God is good. So, limp for Jesus!

Job is a very important book for Christians especially ones who are active in church on various committees or ones who "do good" respectfully. It is the story of faith and not faith in your works but faith in God. It's about trust and faith in God not only in just challenging times but also life day to day walk. I think this pastor did a great job but was hoping he went more in-depth and not your typical sermon on Job. I was hoping he preach about the friends even if he just focus on one friends' behavior it would have been a moment here. It's also about job's heart posture and the motives behind his "regular custom" of sacrificing burnt offerings on behalf of his kids. Job 1:5 would have been a great sermon.
I believe this is the same pastor that went viral when he said, "You're Not David" or "The bible wasn't created for you." Great sermon but I was hoping he would not do your average sermon about Job respectively. I do not want to sound insensitive to him sharing his testimony but the saints need friendly reminders especially when challenges strikes. Thanks for reading.

    1. Grew up with disabilities, going in and out of the hospital and Theropys through my childhood, can’t remember happy childhood memories.
    2. Parents divorce and remarried,
    3. Eventually becoming a third parent
    4. Being emotionally abused and traumatized for 16 years .
    5. Having trouble finding who I am in Christ Andy self worth.
    6. People coming in and out of my life for reasons I can’t control.
    7. Loosing my faith when I lost a friend to cancer, ran from God for three years.
8.dealing with all of these triggers even I am now away from the abuse and trauma, have loving family, friends, mentors, able to see God slowly but more clearly. Even meeting a guy that I feel is the right one.
    9. I constantly beat myself up over these things, hard on myself for these things, hard to fully let go and move on from these things.
Although I know the gospel and bible it’s hard for me to life it out dealing with all of this and I use to be negative until I went positive in Feb 2022. I am blessed , but still struggling. How can I stop?

I met pastor Matt at a conference several years ago and asked him what I needed to do - to really grow. He said to me “be less white”. This was something I grappled with for months but eventually I realised that I was participating in a systematically racist society. I have since repented, i give 30% of my income to BLM and the Freedom I have experienced is inexplicable. Thank you Matt !!

There is no way Matt said this…it flies in the face of the Bible and is not inline with Matt’s character.
