The Chaser is the best song in kpop. This isn't up for debate. The first time you hear it it's like whatever but the more you listen the more you notice and the better and better it gets.

The sound that everyone's so curious about in Chaser is a sound that mimics 'Hae-geum(해금)' which is a traditional Korean instrument. The song in general has a strong traditional Korea vibe to it...

reasons to stan infinite: one of the best live vocal groups in kpop, their rappers can sing well, dance synchronization, their dances always tell a story, variety show kings, on point visuals super down to earth, never losing their roots, and most of all loves us inspirits so much ;'))

Proof that Infinite most fans are proffesionals like idols, singers, musicians especially those peple who have knowledge in music. Their music is so intense, classical and so on, plus they dont have that specific genres, they are just realeasing a legendary song but sadly most kpop fans didnt appreciate it coz its too high profile tho.

"There is something nostalgic about it" when he said that I pretty much just wanted to cry because this song brings back so many memories and I miss this old school second-generation kpop vibes if y'all know what I mean! Infinite is a group that WILL ALWAYS remain in my heart because they played a vital role on my love for kpop, there music and choreography is undeniably amazing.

Btw I'm not sure if Umu know about INFINITE's instrumental album - The Origin. There's a reason why Woolliment released an instrumental album of all their songs in 2014. Their music are beautiful and I don't regret buying the instrumental album. If you guys have the time to react or at least listen to the album.. please do let me know. 4:10 it makes me so happy to see that they liked that part, because it's my favorite part of the whole song even though I don't know too much technical stuff about music... So it shows that you can appreciate the parts that are well-done even if you don't know everything about the topic whereas these guys know a lot about music.
Shimon's face at 9:44 with that dorito in his mouth gives me life, and I love their reaction to Sungjong's voice and The Eye because not as much people loved that song as much as I and a few fans did. I'm cry the wait for this reaction video was so worth it, it's so worth it each time Umu ily ;;
Also, I just wanted to point out that some fans made a theory to The Eye and that it's connected to BTD. L and Woohyun fought a "vampire?" once and at the time L had become one too, so he can't go into the light anymore and he's stuck in that building, the instances where he's outside, the clouds are blocking the sun from touching him and he's covered in other times. That's why the boys keep pulling him away or trying to keep him from walking towards the window because they all promised to stay together with L in the building so he isn't alone. At the end, since they know he misses the light, they'd bring the light to him even if it was artificial.
I read almost all of The Eye theories, but I just read this theory now :O There's so many theories of The Eye, I'm having an headache xD
The chaser is my absolute favourite song in all of kpop. I never get tired of listening to it, it has this nostalgic feel to it and it always makes me so happy 😊

Aww The Chaser is seriously one of my favourite songs of all time. With no knowledge of music theory I can only describe it as a heart quickening, blood rushing, fists clenched, eyes closed kind of a song.
The Eye is one of my favorite kpop songs ever and seeing the reactors appreciating it warms my heart :'))
I cant help but be flabbergasted at the fact people prefer The Eye over Chaser... Chaser is probably one on my top 3 kpop songs, after being a kpop fan for a decade.

Jaine Vanish depends what you mean by powerful voices! If you're talking about vocals, Between Me and You as a non-title track is very outstanding in terms of vocals. Watch their live performance of that song, it's really good hehe

I'm so sad (as far as I see) no one recommends 9muses... For me, they produce amazing songs and some of their B sides are even my faves... Too bad they have so little recognition. I keep looking for similar songs, but no other band releases them as consistently :(

i love how into the first song everybody is. like just jamming. but really they are plucking that guitar on the high octaves and it sounds like with a tad of reverb. and for real their use of instruments and choreography is spot on. ill say i dont like much if any poppy boy band stuff. but this is fantastic.

So whereas I really loved the eye right away, the chaser is a song that grew on me. I liked it the first time I heard it but I have just grown to like it more over time, probably because I've never gotten sick of it. Just like the constant beat, the intense feeling of the song, the great placed modulation, it kinda feels like you are constantly being pushed under slight acceleration.

I love to see this guys' reactions. It' s refreshing to see people not fawning over their biases or drooling anytime the camera focuses on any member of the groups. Yes, they fawn over... diferent things. Sounds, vocals, chords, instruments... They also say things about aesthetic, or the simple coolness of these videos, as we all do. But it is nice to see people appreciating new details from kpop world. And it must be marvellous to be able to reproduce those songs with their instruments. I deeply admire musicians and composers.

I was hoping someone was going to mention how MASTERFUL those modulations in The Chaser are. So glad to see that someone also thinks that The Chaser is an amazing song and is built in such a nice way. I may not know too much about music in a technical sense especially since I gave up on being a music major early on into college, but I do love listening to Yunyi's and Kevin's thoughts on music and learning more because music is still a passion of mine. This reaction was all I ever wanted in life.
