I am by no means religious, but, I love FFAK so much, their music has helped me through some very dark times in my life.
I was like you. I wasn’t Christian but listened to the music because it was positive metal. Now I’m a Christian and I see God used the music my whole life to get me home

the breakdown at 2:55... gives me straight chills. it's such an emotional dark breakdown with the guitar tones settings an ominous affect
i love how a lot of metalcore bands have such an aesthetic music videos. Just fucking yes, scream and show me some artsy nature, please!! one wouldn't expect such a detailed background in a metalcore /or other punk-rock-metal genres/ and I love that with all my heart, because fuck the stereotypes about music.

This is always a problem.
I remember going into Morningstar and being amazed at the concept of Christian metal but I immediately fell in love. This music is so hard and positive.
I love the production on this album. Those guitars sound so punchy and you can hear all the instruments perfectly. Also Ryan's screams just keep getting better. These guys may be underrated right now. But trust me.. they will blow up sooner or later. Stoked for FFAK.

Saw these guys open for For Today on the Brak the Cycle tour. Took my autistic friend with me and the singer talked to us for a few minutes after the show. Super nice guy. Glad they are making a name for themselves.

I just saw these guys on Warped in SLC, I went to see them because I knew them and have most of their albums. Little did I know they would kick so much ass, by far the best live band I have seen thus far.
Absolutely amazing. This is beautifully soft and melodic, then into heavy hard hitting metal, then in and out, very balanced, rhythmic. I love it!!!

Fit for a King goes hand in hand with another band I like (impending doom). Who always seem to get heavier with each record. Tuck's cleans are so good and i really cannot wait to hear what they've got in store for us come next album. Something I have always wished would happen would be Fit for a King ft Brook Reeves from impending doom song would be super heavy lol. But regardless, I will always support FFAK ryans vocals and even his cleans are amazing. I love all there records, this album was the first, for me, that I couldn't pick a favorite I love every song off the album!

As a metalcore fan, I have an honest question: what makes metalcore light our souls on fire? My friend is a hardcore guitarist and he says this doesn't do it for him. He's more along the lines of Hatebreed and Terror. They're brutal, but this is more electrifying to me. Why is that?
Probably melodic riffs, clean vocals and emotional lyrics. And if its also heavy, its the perfect package. Sry this answer comes 2 yrs too late lul
Also probably helps that they sing about what people goes through everyday so you can relate to it. Just my opinion lol
