Hey Tim, Thanks for visiting my home town. It was fun to see it from another's perspective. The empty building used to be the university bookstore until it moved across the street into the new building you walked by. It would be nice if something else would move into there. You also visited before all of the students came back for the semester. It gets a little busier when that happens. LOL! Come back when you can stay awhile. 😄

Mars Hill is a cute little old town. Yes I’m surprised too that there are a lot of vacant buildings downtown. For a college town you would think it would be “hoppin” and busy. There is a small theater there and a brewery and coffee shop and a grill. We’ve been to those places and that’s pretty much it to Mars Hill. I still think Woodfin is smaller than Mars Hill. I could be wrong , they might be about the same in size. There’s some nice backroads,farming roads to walk on , and there’s a greenway. It is a nice place it’s just small.

Wonderful tour of Mars Hill, NC, Timothy! Now you can tell everyone that you've actually been to Mars, and all of your subscribers who view this video can make that claim, too! 👍👍 Where were all the Martians hiding? 🤔 Didn't see any walking down the streets, but I assume several of them were driving those cars and other vehicles up and down those roads. 🤣 I wonder if the cast of that 1960s sitcome "My Favorite Martian" have ever been to Mars Hill?
