Wisteria is a favorite of mine....I once lived in a large, older house that featured a giant Wisteria that graced an outdoor patio, providing shade, beauty and that heavenly fragrance that makes the Wisteria legendary. A cat showed up one day, and lived up in the leafy branches, watching us....she needed a home, and decided we were her new family, even tho there were 4 big, noisy dogs living there! She stayed, and befriended all of us, finally coming down from her lofty, leafy abode! Of course, I named her, Wisteria! 💜🕊💜🐈💜🕊💜

The actual plant itself is a nightmare. Well, enjoy them only in Japan. Don't bring this plant outside of Japan. The cherry blossoms are nicer. You would not love this plant if you had to manage it, or if it spreads and makes you financially responsible for the damage it causes. Seriously look up Wisteria destruction and see for yourself. This plant should be absolutely prohibited from being planted anywhere outside of Japan.

The lady that was able to move this gorgeous tree to it's new location, my hats off to you. My wife and I plan to start a trellis this Spring for our Wisteria. Not a beautiful plant. Beautiful nightmare. Seriously, did you just look at cultivated Wisteria in the Deep South? Once you have to upkeep this horrible plant, you will change your mind. It smothers trees. Absolutely an invasive beast that should never have been brought to the Deep South. It's like Kudzu. Huge mistake to invite it into a territory where it can destroy native trees.

Amazing it makes me cry. Purple is my fave color and Amethyst (violet February birth stone) is my birth stone. I wanna plant Wisteria Tree in my front yard at the front of my house corner house since it can live in tropical country like here in the Philippines but I am afraid it is poisonous though it says only the seeds are poisonous when ingested bu animals and not much to humans. 💜💜💜
I dream of purple, pink and white hysteria in a field. I dream of pile of old painting of art in flea market. A pile of chair, furniture in open storage room. Then of course there stone bed a remind where it all started. Heaven is a storeroom of junk we toss away. I still visit those places and sometime I met someone I've loved. Very short span second it seems than we departed and probably never see again. Love life ♥
