Thank you for the information on the rims, I just bought a 2022 719 option classic and it had tubed wheels. I've ordered the 719 cast wheels from BMW. Your information gives me some more rim options now.
Hi Scott, I’m from Perth WA and looking into getting a R ninet very soon! That colour looks like the colour of an Opal gemstone. Enjoys your videos, great content!
Great vid. All the R1200 rear wheels I see on eBay have reverse rotation spokes i.e. left side swing arm. Yours is the only one I’ve seen with the spokes pointing in the correct direction for right side swing arm. What am I missing here? Even when I search based on model year, all seem to be reverse configuration.
G'day, mate. I think you'll find that the wheels are from later model R1200R's - they have swingarms on the left. Look for wheels from a 2014 or earlier model.
Hi, Tony. I'm sure you could cram a 190 on to a 5.5 inch rim BUT the profile wouldn't be the same as fitting it to a 6 inch rim which it's designed for. The 190 on a 6 inch rim slightly increases the overall diameter by just under 5mm which of course increases the ride height (which I like). I didn't notice any changes to handling at all.
I use it for both, mate. I promise you, it handles great both on and off the track. Wouldn't recommend a Supercorsa if it rains where you are - great for the dry, just not for the wet.

How could any one criticize you, your vids are bang on and informative. Cheers.
Good work! Keep up the great R nine T content!
Thanks, Sean.

Thanks, Gary. Appreciate your comment. The colour is a BMW colour - Hockenheim Silver Metallic. Hopefully I'll have the tank on this weekend.
Love your add ones can’t wait to get my nine t
Nice review..were you tempted to slap on a phat 200mm rear?
No mods required for the 6" \, other than shorter bolts?
Yeah, I was tempted but stuck with the 190 due to being better for the track. And nothing needed other than the bolts.

Do you think the 190 would fit on the original wheels?
What about handling with the 190, any improvements or just "looks"?

@@thatrninetguy Hi Scott. Thank you for your reply and explanation.
Do you use this tire for street, or just track ? I want a wider tire purely for looks but don’t want it to negatively affect the handling of the bike.
I use it for both, mate. I promise you, it handles great both on and off the track.

What’s the weight on the new Rim?
5.5kg's, mate. A little over 12lbs over where you are. That's for the rim only - no tyre (tire).
hello pal, very good content here,
can you please tell me if you know what is the offset of this tyre, thanks
Hi, Kiril. I'm afraid I have no idea. Sorry.
the stock rim os pretty wide, you can even put 200 on it
I’m almost sure you can fit a 200 with stock rim...
