Hi from Sydney, Australia. The clicking noise when you spin the prop by hand is probably the clutch dog, leave it alone for now. Also, you should use a wire brush to clean those petcocks and grease them before you reassemble. Same with where the hoses connect to the motor. Very professional video, good sound. Well done.

Had one very similar to this in the late 80s - early 90s. Ran it on the Des Plaines and Kankakee Rivers. Had the camper top option which allowed us to spend entire weekend on the rivers. The third young one really was the death knell. Just seeing this boat brings back memories - so hopefully there will be more videos.

The other thing that goes on these is the purging fan housing. When you put the blower on it has to evacuate the fumes or boom

That's not a windless it's a bow pulpit. A winless is a device manual or electric that brings in your anchor ⚓

The other thing I did was replace the points with a electronic points it’s a higher output and you don’t have to replace them every year

Rip the IO out and put a bracket on the back with a outboard.

You don't put poly on teak! Sand it down and use teak oil on it!

Too bad that motor is carbureted/ a rather gutless 305. I would ditch that thing, put a bracket and a decent outboard on the back. Would be a huge improvement IMO
