      Hey there! I would suggest getting our BlackMax All Black Ink System, which you can find here: www.screenprinting.com/blackmax-1400-1430-screen-printing-cartridge-kit-w-chip-resetter
      It is an all black ink system that allows you to have darker, more opaque prints. It does require the use of AccuRIP, which you can find here if you do not already have it: www.screenprinting.com/accurip-software-for-printing-halftones-with-epson-printers
      There are videos on the product pages for both, so feel free to check it out! Having an all black ink system really helps when printing good, dark film positives.

    Is there anything called clear transfer paper ?

  • @Masa-gl6ti
    @Masa-gl6ti ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you ever have issues with the film positive fading in light over time? We use the Epson 1430 printer, and screen printing specific waterproof film for positives. Yet they fade if we don't put them up somewhere dark.

      Hi! Great question. I personally have never seen that happen due to films being in the open, but I and many of the print shops I visit also keep their films in a package / dark space. Are you using after market black or OEM inks? OEM inks have UV blockers in them to resist fading (also helps out a ton when exposing)
      I have seen the black fade when the film is used over and over. A very small amount can rub/transfer off during exposure if the screen has ANY residual moisture in it during exposure.
      Hope this helped!

    • @Masa-gl6ti
      @Masa-gl6ti ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ryonet We use a brand called Cobra Ink, but I think they're closed so I'm not sure if it has UV blockers in it. But that makes a lot more sense for it to have it. I've never had an issue with the ink coming off onto the screens when exposing them, it's always if they get left out for too long when they start to fade. Do you have any recommended brands or companies to buy OEM inks from? That info definitely helps, thanks!

    • @Ryonet
      @Ryonet  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Masa-gl6ti OEM inks - meaning Original Equipment Manufacturer - would be Epson for the 1430. Any Photo printer will have inks with higher levels of UV blocking power so pictures have minimal fade in sunlight. Now, getting a dense black is another question..... but again, if it can block UV light that is most of your battle.
      If what you are using works great, i may just change habits so the films are kept away from a light source.

      Hi there! This is strange! I wonder if you're inkjet is printing on the wrong side of the film? You want to make sure you're printing on the rougher surface. Sometimes it can be hard to tell which is the correct side so always double check when placing the film in the printer. Also make sure your emulsion is 100% dry with zero to low humidity. Let us know if you still need help!

      Hi @@Ryonet
      Thanks for your help. I was double check my film was print on the right surface. And my emulsion was fully dry. Only i was face this problem when i work with a design of High density. When we expose any high density design 30-40 second then we face this problem.
