I've made a fair bit of stones and you're pretty spot on but some tips 1. To get good seam tape adhesion, assemble mold first and then spray lube through the pour mold 2. Wheelbarrow for mixing concrete 3. Wrap a percussion massager in saran wrap to agitate air bubbles out Good work as always brother!
The amount they charge for the mold and handle is CRAZY , smh Handles should cost 5-10 and molds 20$ each in different sizes can justify 100$ for a handle and a plastic mold
Bro fr. Like, a gallon of concrete weighs 20lbs.... I have a gallon of milk about done that I can use to start off with. Plus, I'm pretty sure at my hardware store I can get metal piping cut to size, then I just have to bend it into shape.... let alone just using pvc as you see elsewhere online. For the shape of it, it's not even worth it, it's too wide for half of the exercises you need, if it was cheaper I'd be all for it, but nah, it's a wide weird shape and to get it a lighter size it's just weirdly shaped now lol
Next time use a wheelbarrow instead of a bucket. You've got room to mix hundreds of pounds of concrete at a time in a standard wheelbarrow and once you are done you can spray out the inside with a hose to keep the wheelbarrow clean and concrete free.
@@Eccles_basement_gym just trying to get sizes and shapes perfect as well as prices/costs as low as I can so I can compete with the established atlas stone companies.
Unrelated but I was really looking forward to your 2x Aggro review Is it one of those kinds of reviews you need to spend a lot of time training with to sink your teeth into? I’m shocked at how little is out there about the Aggro bars ! Thanks my dude
The "d" in "20d" is actually pronounced "penny." This is because the great coin shortage of 2020 caused construction materials to become acceptable tender in most markets.
I want to buy either 2 x Prime Fitness Selectorized Single Stack or 1 x Rogue Lat Pulldown LP-2 and 2x Rogue Cable Tower CT-1. Which one would you choose and which one do you think has the better quality?
Also 25 dollars for a handle and they don’t even come pre drilled…. For that price they should come drilled with nails and should have at least a primer on them
I think you should have added a steel armature to that kettlebell and coat it with rubber to make it less prone to blow off in case it slips from a certain height to the ground. Also, those molds are way too expensive and they beat their original purpose to provide a cheap option to steel KBs. That's some next level marketing hell.
I'll be attempting to build this soon, but am trying to figure out another mold since having the Stix and Stone mold shipped to me country would be cost-prohibitive. Can you please explain what you mean by adding a steel armature?
@@RebuildingSaad Yes, just some small rebar inside the mold to make the concrete sturdier. That's how they make buildings' wall, they tied together rebar then they pour the concrete on it.
Pouring less concrete into it. It turns into this weird cut off ball shape, honestly for 100 bucks it's not worth it. You can use any plastic container for this, those buckets he has that cost $3-5 at his home repair place would have worked fine for it and it would still be bucket shaped. Plus, for $20 you have to drill the holes yourself?? Nah. If you're gonna go diy, go diy. This is great for the one size if you're gonna pass it around between friends so each one of yall has a gaint kettlebell, but besides that I'm good. The sizing effect on the shape kills it for me for that pricing when I know that any hard plastic container will do.

There's no cost savings in this when the mold is 100 bucks lol

What makes the handle price so insane is that they didn't even drill the holes in it...

100% agree. Learned that the hard way 😂
I got one even better. Use a black trash bag and when you’re done just throw it away
Im really surprised they dont have Atlas Stone molds
Working on it 😜

😂😂😂
I have atlas stones but this is not what I'd consider ideal as to get heavier KBs would be impractical
What could you use as the handle? How did you bend yours?
I wonder if a tube of high strength JB Weld could help hold those nails for those without power tools?
I'm interested in the tsunami bar. Please review the tsunami bar.

Put the bucket on a scale zero the scale then add mold then add concrete you will get the exact weight you want

Your handle is small
Your swing looks like you are using your arms to much. Your legs are supposed to be the thing that drives the motion.
