Absolutely one of the very best patterns for a rag doll I've found -- from the use of interfacing, the insertion of arms, and the clever piecing of body to legs, this is delightful tutorial that is clear and unfussy. It works! Thank you Ms. Pay.
I am so happy to have randomly found your channel, Lisa! You explain everything so clearly and succinctly, I am definitely going to watch your other videos and try to make them well for my granddaughters and then as they grow out of the dolly phase, I would like to donate some to the Royal Flying Doctor Service here in Australia. I commend you for so generously sharing your patterns and especially for your knowledge and tips. Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
Thank you. This is a wonderful tutorial - you are a marvellous teacher - and your use of pinking scissors is inspired. I always have such trouble snipping around curves! I shall have great fun attempting this delightful bunny (and her wardrobe) and am very grateful to you for your generosity in gifting so many patterns and videos to everyone. My thanks and good wishes - Marion, North Somerset coast, UK.
Fabulous tutorial !! I've been making rag dolls, teddies and Luna Lapin bunnies( which take forever as each one is hand sewn ) but now that I've seen your tutorial on here, I shall definitely be making these, love the way you do the arms, to say I'm impressed is an understatement....thank you for sharing this !!
Really enjoying your videos. Your such a great teacher. As a kiwi, it’s so nice to hear a similar accent rather than an American one …thank you so much ps love your hair cut
Thank you so very much for showing how this is done and being so gracious as to give the pattern. I'll study this for a bit and give it a go for my grand daughters!
Lisa, I just want to thank you for your incredible patterns and tutorials. Im very new to sewing and I made my 2 nieces and wee nephew a bunny and Teddy bear each. I'm so happy with how they turned out....even though mine didn't turn out quite as perfect as yours, lol. But as a new sewer, I was pretty impressed with how easy they were to make and how cute they turned out. I will be sharing them on my blog and channel soon and will of course link back to you. Thank you so much again. Now my little nieces and nephew will have a handmade gift from their Auntie Lee that hopefully they will cherish for many years to come. Lee x

Excellent tutorial, thank you. One bunny made and another on the way. It’s fun trying a new skill and, as I’m sewing most days, makes a welcome change from my usual creations. I should add that I thought my bunny should be wearing knickers! So I cut a wider seam allowance around the top of the leg pattern, added some lace trim, a couple of darts and a tiny bow for decoration, and they fit very snugly under her skirt! Also made her a shoulder bag. Thanks again for your tuition and for sharing your tips and skills.
Yes i did enjoy this video and a few others....you’ve inspired me and i want to make a few. You are very generous to share your experience with us...thank you
I only found you yesterday Lisa. I have subscribed. Bell on. Your bunnies and teddies etc. are exquisite. I can't wait to have a go. Thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing. I really love starting these. It’s a great stress release for me to sew. Being a retire cop it’s nice having my brain relax and of fun bunnies lol
Love your videos and following your clear instructions. I have made several of your little animals including the patchwork dog, cat and pig, the kangaroo and, this week, made the elephant with the jointed arms and head which I am very pleased with. I find it so relaxing and can't wait to have a go at more of your creations. Thank you Lisa!
The forceps are worth the investment. They are not very expensive. I ordered a set, and got 6. 2 small, 2 medium, and 2 long lengths. One set is curved and the other is straight. Worth it.
I think I have watched nearly every one of your videos now. I love every one of them as you are so thorough in your explanations and reason for your methods. You are an inspiration and your generosity is astounding. I am going to make your gorgeous elephant for my first grandchild soon and your shelf bear I will be making out of his newborn hospital outfit that he came home in. So thank you so. I have for all you do xxxx
I just made the bunny rabbit and instead of making the dress I made the overalls that you made for the teddy bear. I also made the entire doll from old clothes including the stuffing. So it was a 100%recycled doll. I love all your patterns and can't wait for the cat doll. That will be my next project. Thank you so much for sharing all the patterns with us you are doing an amazing job!

Hi Lisa, thank you for sharing, I did a very nice bunny doll, My niece will enjoy from this. countinue following u. Many Thanks Liat Atir, by the way I am tring to put a picture here but couldnot.
Tip for turning arms/legs: I poked TWO chopsticks down inside my arm, then grasped the tip (hand area) with some regular eyebrow tweezers. I turned the chopstick tips so that they were either side of the seam (on the inside of the hand), then pushed gently with the tweezers between the chopsticks. With a bit of wiggling of tweezers and chopsticks, I had the arm turned inside out enough to pull the rest through in less than ten seconds. This, even though I'd lined the inside with interfacing, and the fabric is polyester with a sort of suede-ish finish - not slippery at all. Hope that helps :)
Thank you for your videos!!!!! I have learned so much from you. You are so generous to give us free patterns, In one of your videos you say there will be lots of upcoming videos on making additional doll clothes. Hi Collette! I’m glad you’re enjoying my projects! Stuffing gets easier with practise, I promise😊 And yes, I always apply my interfacing to my fabrics first and then cut out, you get much cleaner pieces that way!🥰🤗

Hi thanks for the pattern and tutorial...I have a question: Can I use heat n bond light weight iron-on fusible non-woven interface or Heat n bond non-woven fusible interfacing medium?
Thank you for sharing your fantastic creations, you have certainly inspired me to have a go at making some of them, though no idea which one to start with as they are all equally amazing. Could I ask please what size felting needle is best to use.
Hi having trouble accessing the forceps have rung a number of crafts shops in Adelaide and so far no luck, can you suggest a craft shop even if it is another state, Also the type of forceps and size that you are using. Thankyou Linda

Merci Lisa pour ce tutoriel pas à pas. Mais je ne vois pas où telecharger le patron surtout qu'il est gratuit ! Ça c'est 1 beau cadeau ! Merci d'avance ! Jhate de le faire !
Hi! The Link to the FREE Pattern is in the drop down description box below the video 🥰
Wow! I also made a bunny doll, but mine is very different from yours. Your bunny doll is fantastic🤩❣
Thank you, you can never have too many Bunnies!
Thank you for the pattern and the tutorial! What stitch length do you recommend?
Hi Sukha, I always set my stitch length to 2. 🥰
Hi Lisa, lovely tutorials I have learnt so much from you and really appreciate your work. Could you please tell me if you use 1mm or 2mm woolfelt.😢
I didn't see that imoji until I'd sent!
Hi Karen, I use 1mm felt for most of my projects🥰
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
You are so very welcome!🥰
Thankyou very much, such a great video and an actual cute bunny!
Can the polyester felt you mentioned can be machine washed? Or hand washed even?
Thankyou!
Hi! Yes I use a washable acrylic felt, a gentle hand wash would be best 🥰
Hi thanks for the pattern and tutorial...I have a question: Can I use heat n bond light weight iron-on fusible non-woven interface or Heat n bond non-woven fusible interfacing medium?
Hi, Lightweight Heat and bond will be fine, however I do recommend you use a Woven fusible Interfacing for best results because it remains flexible🥰
@@payitforward9442 thanks
Hi are there any other clothing options for the bunny 🐰
Hi Kelly, yes! There are overalls and a Jacket too, you’ll find them in my list.🥰
Thank you for sharing your fantastic creations, you have certainly inspired me to have a go at making some of them, though no idea which one to start with as they are all equally amazing.
Could I ask please what size felting needle is best to use.
Hi Tessa, I generally use a 36 needle, the lower the number the heavier the needle, so better for stuffing. 🥰
Hi having trouble accessing the forceps have rung a number of crafts shops in Adelaide and so far no luck, can you suggest a craft shop even if it is another state, Also the type of forceps and size that you are using.
Thankyou Linda
Hi Linda, I buy mine from EBay, and my fave size is Around 15cm.🥰
@@payitforward9442 Thankk you I have ordered two sizes today, and thanks for the tutorial.
I'm trying to do this bunny doll, and I'm out safty eyes ( mines are to large ), what sizes do you use ;O)
Que graça! Agradeço!
How can I get these patterns please
cute bunny thank you lISA
Woow! I absolutely love it! Will try to make my own. Please tell me what kind of fabric did you use to make this doll? Greetings from Croatia!
Hi Kristina and welcome! The best fabric is a quilting cotton, available in so many colours!🥰
what size eyes do you prefer thank you for everything
Hi! 10mm eyes are the best fit for most of my Animal dolls, 12mm for some of the bears, I always list the size recommended in the description 😊🥰
Going to try my hand on doing this gorgeous bunny.....Just a question for you what size forceps do you use ?
It’s so great that your an Aussie at least we can get the materials we need from here 😁♥️
Gidday Angela, at least you understand me!😂 I have a few pairs but mostly use my 15cm and 20cm pairs. Great to have you on board!😊🥰
