The re-jump part is valid as long as you can reach the corner after SuperDash connects because his j.H kicks the opponent away. Delay SuperDash after 5H on smash, and then buffer air dash right before SuperDash connects. However, this ones seems very easy because you can also buffer j.H, in contrast to many other characters for whom you’d need to slightly delay j.M after air dash. #2 (00:14) - A combo fiddling with Vanish whiff and a setup for Spirit Bomb. I was attempting a re-jump combo by linking j.H before landing after j.214S-3S-3S, but unfortunately there is a lot of landing recovery frames (due to j.214S). However, the Vanish whiff part turned out to be really consistent in this case, and you can easily extend combo after Vanish whiff because j.214X causes ground bounce. Another thing: if you can get 5LLL to connect while Goku(GT) is facing the corner, you can do 214S8-1S after 5LLL (like how I used 214S8 after 5LLL in #4) and combo into Spirit Bomb, which omits Vanish and saves you a bar. A beam assist would enable you to do this very easily. Also, if hitstun decay is relatively high, you may not be able to connect j.214S after Vanish (the dummy would tech before reaching the middle of the screen after the wall bounce from Vanish). #3 (00:37) - A team 100% combo, off 2H and started with 0 meter, Lv.1 Sparking. The corner Sparking loops should work on any character; I did it first on Goku(GT) himself and the rhythm is almost the same. The timing to call for Videl’s assist is very tight because of how little hitstun it deals at that point, but then again if you have a beam assist or something like Ginyu’s shoulder tackle, you should get this quite consistently. _*Note that Goku is so small that the second blast of Broly’s Lv.1 would simply whiff even if the first hit connects properly*_… #4 (01:09) - A midscreen combo fooling around with Vanish whiff. For the limited time I spent I could not find any interesting midscreen route. Practically, his 236H/j.236H cause wall bounce and you can easily combo after it at any screen position. #5 (01:26) - A combo started with 5M to gauge his ideal damage range. Without using Lv.1 Super this combo does like 5030 damage and causes SKD. The re-jump part is the same as in #1 except you don’t need to delay SuperDash this time. #6 (01:41) - Solo 100%, started with about 3.75 bars, Lv.1 Sparking. It’s somewhat an overkill at the end even without powered-up Dragon Punch, so I suppose there’d be other more optimal route in terms of resource. #7 (02:12) - A team 100% combo without Sparking but a lot of meters. I guess if I had a better assist I could have omitted that Vanish and started with much less resource. Unfortunately I really don’t think Trunks’ and Videl’s assists work well with Goku(GT). #8 (02:41) - Solo 100% without using Spirit Bomb, started with 4 bars, Lv.2+ Sparking. The powered-up Dragon Punch deals nearly 1900 damage at max scaling. Coupled with his 236M/H which deal a lot of hitstun even late in combos, there’s a lot of guaranteed damage.

Man I love this character. He gives me so many flashbacks to reading the original manga in my school library. Seeing the move that killed King Piccolo in his level 3 just fills me with so much joy.
They purposefully put that delay on Spirit Bomb because it doesn't cause double super damage penalty, just like how Broly's slow Lv.3 does not freeze time when activated.

Sorry. I’m not saying they’re going to, it’s just that in most cases when they see something easily accessible/can be used as a simple yet unconventional combo exploit they nerf it. Cooler’s lvl 3 extension in his case is due to a previous system change and character buff. It’s difficult to pull off especially in competitive and sometimes not worth the damage. Something that Arc probably isn’t worrying about. GT Goku just came out and is in that “New Char Smell” phase where they send him out to see what people do with him. No doubt if people get setups like that with spirit bomb, vocal minority complaints will come and Arc will dial it back. A lot. It’s a habit they have I’ve noticed.
Gunna be honest it seems like gt goku is more experienced fighter and has more of a tactical fighting style rather then head on go for a bash. It seems like the replicated the character off from what an older more experienced goku would be like as he has resets, mixups, good block pressure, lots of tods and good skills in general that can be linked together to make a great combo.
After messing with this new character and seeing this video I might get back into fighterz for a while. I wasn't really vibing with the other season 2 people but this one feels great. It's too bad the spirit bomb is his second level 3, I wish I could just use it after Gotenks ghosts but I imagine maybe you could use the bomb then just do ghosts right after to lock up the opponent.
Space Memes I haven’t tried it, but I suppose you can raw tag in Gotenks and do your ghost oki while your opponent recovers from a hard knockdown. The spirit bomb animation is really long

You can whiff vanish after any ground-bounce move, by timing your vanish such that your character disappears when they are fully flat on the ground. Works on about 1/3 of the characters.
Please help Y.Xiao! Whenever I try to do the vanish reverse kamehameha into spirit bomb the reverse K. never seems to push the target high enough for the spirit bomb. I play on pc using an Xbox controller. Don’t know if that my influence it. I also only use it twice like I’ve seen in all other combo videos.
You have to input Spirit Bomb as soon as possible after the diagonal hit (Vanish, 214S, 1S and immediately input Spirit Bomb, don't wait until 1S connects), or else you'd get an extra delay before the Spirit Bomb animation (you'd see the dummy fly under the Spirit Bomb and recover).
How do you get that vanish whiff every time? How do you time that frame? Also, if you’ve done it high enough to where they’re off screen, what helps you tell when they hit that frame?
Other than the one on Kid Buu (at that height you can Vanish braindead), the others are timed manually. It's really nothing but a trial and error process.

One thing they have to fix for GT goku is his 1 sec. Freeze frame for his Spirit bomb. Otherwise, everything else is fine
