Goku Baseform in GT has power level more than ssj3 in DBZ.
I should note: The pure numerical frame advantage after a level 3 super does not necessarily dictate how powerful the knockdown is because of how the game calculates it. But there is definitely a correlation. What I mean is that GT's knockdown was not necessarily multiple times better than other knockdowns. But it was certainly the best in the game.
Also if you guys still want to play GT Goku, his B-Assist is still definitely viable. That alone doesn't change my stance on this nerf.

Well, i don't know why people hated spirit bomb oki so much, there are still amazing levels 3 in this game, but i don't see as much rage.
Amazing supers with oki: base vegeta level 3 after grab, android 21's level 3(The steals also make it crazy), android 18's level 3 and gotenks ghost oki.
@@vinicius464able I think it mainly has to do with the tools gt has to open you up, the amount of things he could do in that situation made it too much of a dice roll in terms of blocking the mixup. Plus, having over two seconds of knockdown is pretty fucking balls.

Quick thing about spirit bomb:
Some of the numbers on it are still with Nappa trapped in the ball, so 143 likely wasn't the actual frame advantage.

The whole concept behind editing/graphic design with the colored silhouettes thing in the beginning to show assist type is absolutely ingenious. Makes me wanna learn how to edit like that from you lol.

"Well,I guess they can't nerf him even more than that...right? He isn't even top five anymore"

That a assist carried me and my team for many matches,and it still feels weird using the b assist.
The b assist is not bad at all,but not having much experience with it,and abandoning an assist that I literally used since gt came out;that felt so bad,even worse than goku and the nerf to his 2m.
The nerfs in season 3 and this recent one to my rat boy felt like funerals to me😭

Guilty Gear Strive has those starter guides videos on every character that covers what their moves do. The movelist is also pretty informative and easy to follow with footage used to show each move in action. I know SFV does cover some characters, dont know how good they are though. But yeah, I hope more devs do stuff like this.
Sad to see such a Great Character get Basically Removed from the System
I miss his A assist and personally think it was definitely un-called for, but his B assist is a hidden gem of an assist still, not as efficient for neutral like a beam but blockstun and start up is stupid good.

honestly, the only problem i had with him was his spirit bomb lvl 3. the fact that he got that ridiculous oki plus a chance to combo after was ridiculous to me. but they just straight up gutted him now
I cannot even begin to tell you how much my jaw dropped when I saw the frame advantage on the lvl 3, I play this game casually and I didn't even know it lasted that long in season 2.
