    So loved this Torah portion and Instructions in it.
    Hallaluyah.
    Even though I cannot be allowed into our Homeland , because I don't have 2 Generations of Synagogue Proofs. I love the Land of Yash'ar'al.
    And know I will walk in this Land free for 1000 years with our returning Mashiach Ya'sh'u'ah Ha Mashiach.
    Hallaluyah

    “HaShem engages us according to our own narrative.” What a life changing and gut wrenching statement!
    My we, by the power of His Spirit, grow to embody HaShem’s narrative and reality, so that we may be one with Him.

    Zechariah 12-10-14 10Then I will pour out on the house of David and on the people of Jerusalem a spiritb of grace and prayer, and they will look on Me,c the One they have pierced.d They will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

    Thank you for this beautiful teaching. I have often wondered if the grasshopper identity was in fact a blessing from Hashem because the giants would never have attacked insects who are a natural part of the landscape. This would have provided the children of Israel with a natural organic appearance in order to conquer the land without violence-because there would not have been a confrontation with grasshoppers. The land would be occupied without bloodshed. Could it be that the sin was not recognizing this?-that is to say,when following the divine directive, there is nothing to fear as He is sovereign over all nature and to know Him is to be entirely confident in this? I wonder if such confidence in His love is what He desires most from us.

    • @amywhittlesey
      @amywhittlesey 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also- as for the men, the infusion of divine power at Sinai may have been misunderstood in respect to a military campaign as feelings of superior strength would cause them to have conventional rather that supernatural understanding of victory. But is G-d not showing them something radically new- that His purposes of improving life should be actualized in the organic sphere ?-rather than an artificial intervention of force which was at that time, the singular understanding of how to conquer-That to have a grasshopper consciousness [seeing oneself as part of the Creator’s world,rather than a manipulator of it]is in fact the way to overthrow evil? -that swords & spears employed to physically take and dominate are not really His will but the way of man? That by the stillness and smallness of a grasshopper, His will is best accomplished if only we can recognize this and remain humble-

      Never would thought of it in such a way....hmmmmmm, interesting way to look at how we conquered the land with no blood shed....😇😇

    Proverbs 30:4
    Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!

    Psalms 2: 1-12 1Why do the nations ragea
    and the peoples plot in vain?
    2The kings of the earth take their stand
    and the rulers gather together,
    against the LORD
    and against His Anointed One:b
    3“Let us break Their chains
    and cast away Their cords.”
    4The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord taunts them.
    5Then He rebukes them in His anger,
    and terrifies them in His fury:
    6“I have installed My King on Zion,
    upon My holy mountain.”
    7I will proclaim the decree
    spoken to Me by the LORD:
    “You are My Son;
    today I have become Your Father.c
    8Ask Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance,
    the ends of the earth Your possession.
    9You will break themd with an iron scepter;
    You will shatter them like pottery.e”
    10Therefore be wise, O kings;
    be admonished, O judges of the earth.
    11Serve the LORD with fear,
    and rejoice with trembling.
    12Kiss the Son, lest He be angry
    and you perish in your rebellion,
    when His wrath ignites in an instant.
    Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

    Isaiah 53:1-8 1Who has believed our message?
    And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?a
    2He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
    and like a root out of dry ground.
    He had no stately form or majesty to attract us,
    no beauty that we should desire Him.
    3He was despised and rejected by men,
    a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.
    Like one from whom men hide their faces,
    He was despised, and we esteemed Him not.
    4Surely He took on our infirmities
    and carried our sorrows;b
    yet we considered Him stricken by God,
    struck down and afflicted.
    5But He was pierced for our transgressions,
    He was crushed for our iniquities;
    the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
    and by His stripes we are healed.c
    6We all like sheep have gone astray,d
    each one has turned to his own way;
    and the LORD has laid upon Him
    the iniquity of us all.
    7He was oppressed and afflicted,
    yet He did not open His mouth.
    He was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
    and as a sheep before her shearers is silent,
    so He did not open His mouth.
    8By oppression and judgment He was taken away,
    and who can recount His descendants?
    For He was cut off from the land of the living;e
    He was stricken for the transgression of My people.

    Not to be disrespectful to the Rabbi, but how can we always think all will be OK. Think about the shooting in Texas
    What good could come out of that? All those beautiful children. Are the parents suppose to believe all happens for the good? Those families will not be OK for a long time. The children's traumatized. Let's think about what we are saying
